*Post-Modern Literature *Mature (Not Pornographic) ------------------- Forty-two years have passed since the downfall of civilization began. Now there is nothing left in the world. Well, almost nothing. The walkers who take care of themselves on their own, the scavengers who terrified the others, and the campers that even their names could not be mentioned... In this world, one of the walkers has to go to a camp; what she needs is just some medicine for a sick child whose path she crosses. What could go wrong? ------------------- A/N: This story contains complex ideas, sexual abuse, harsh language, violence and graphic depictions of many other unpleasant situations and events that can negatively affect the minor audience. After thinking for a long time, I decided to publish this story in the mature category. If you are under 18 or thinking such stories might break you, please do not read it. A/N: This story is written for ONC-2021 as a novella. The genre is general/contemporary fiction and uses the 11th prompt "The child was afraid of the monster under the bed. Until the monster needed help", but since this is a post-modern story, it will probably take time for the prompt to reveal itself. So, please take your time and enjoy the story itself.
