Before I could even fully process his statement a gun shot rang out causing me to scream. Another loud bang proceeded after the shot, too scared to open my eyes I said a silent prayer hoping it would all be over soon.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk... You should've just opened the door, mama. Now you've made things complicated." He growled in my ear, yanking me up by my hair.
