Hiccup, a scrawny 15 year old Viking boy, is torn between fighting dragons and figuring out why his best friend Chloe Jones is becoming increasingly distant from him. He wants to make himself worthy of her and his father and quite being an embarrassment to his whole village. He sets out to prove himself when he finds a Night Fury only to find out that things are exactly what they seem with these mysterious creatures. Will Hiccup be able to prove himself and make his father proud of him? Or will he just make matters worse? And what about his best friend? Will he be able to find out the real reason she's distancing herself from him or will it be the end of their friendship?
