But as she spends the days watching Joey, Mel's feelings for her friend seem to grow in a way she can't deny. Things between Joey and Mel begin to grow, when Colin shows up asking about Jem. Mel, with the help of Harley, navigates the puzzle of the past and present and the undeniable connection she has with Joey. Colin's narcissism, pulls Mel back into his web, putting Joey in life threatening danger and Mel realising she might lose Joey forever.
