A short story! It's based on a quote I made: "If you wield the sword forbid you to deserve, then I can play my convincing innocent part and be behind the trigger and put the blame upon you, and trust me, you have no say, because who'll believe you?" What do I mean by this quote? Hear me out! Only eighteen years of age, Elara is a manipulating mastermind, who pulls off her convincingly innocent role. Their arrogant leader, Lord Korran wields a sword he doesn't deserve, full of amazing and powerful strength. Elara recognizes that Korran's arrogance and overconfidence can be exploited. She sees him not just as a ruler but as a flawed man whose insecurities can be used against him in her quest for rebellion. She views him as a personal obstacle standing between her and the freedom she longs for. Korran is driven by a desire for power and legacy, which is why he is considering marriage. He believes that an alliance through marriage will strengthen his influence and solidify his position. When Korran makes his decisions, he adds Elara as a marriage option, and she takes this opportunity. Lady Vesper dislikes Korran, and wants to accompany Elara with this mission at all costs....by any means necessary.
