These tears I cried at 15

"Ethan, we've known each other for years! Now you want to talk to me?" I rolled my eyes. "What do you want? Is this a dare? Who's putting you up to this?" I questioned insecurely. He gave me an amused smile and chuckled.
"Trust me if I want to talk to you Maia I'm going to talk you not just because someone told me to..." My throat went dry at this and my mouth opened ajar but I quickly closed it feeling my throat tighten and a blush rise to my cheeks.
