In theatre, we have journals. One of the questions was: Define real love. What does it look like, how is it expressed? How you know if someone really loves you or you really love them?
          	My answer:
I think real love has different definitions. There is a love where you have affection for someone and have feelings for them, but than there is the friendly love. The love that you have towards friends and family. I have a guy friend that I love, but that doesn't mean I have feelings for him. I care about him a lot, and I trust him with everything. When I first met that person, we got along well. As we started becoming closer, I had these weird feelings. I didn't really know what they were, because I have never really experienced love before. I thought it was some kind of crush or something, but it wasn't. It was a love that you have for friends, the people that should be above the love you have for your partner. I think the love you have for friends is extremely important, because without loving your friends, how can you actually love someone and have feelings for someone? If I love someone, I would love to spend time with them, and I would like their attention. If they get emotionally hurt, I would try everything to help cheer them up. If I loved someone, their mood would affect my mood. If that person is happy, I'll be happy, but if that person is mad or sad, I'll be upset. I don't think love should be expressed by present and flowers or chocolate, but by the attention you give each other, the time you spend with each other, and what you do when you are together. The first image that comes into my head when I think of real love is just you and your best friend or significant other, sitting on blankets on a beach, watching the waves and star-gazing. I think you can do this with a best friend without having feelings for each other, because they are someone you really care about, and take time out of your day to spend time with them.
          	So proud right now!!
