Dani:  One half of the writing team for Hermit & Star Books, I write primarily dark gay erotica.  I live with my partner of nearly 14 years, who is also the other writer at HSB and the cover artist as well, Nevi Star.  When I'm not writing, I have a small Tarot Reading business.  I watch loads of anime, read manga and spend maybe too much time playing with our slightly neurotic rescue kitty, Owen. Nevi:  The artist and other half of the writing duo, I am more shy and generally, you'll find Dani posting.  When I'm not writing, I am reading spiritual texts and watching tons & tons of anime.  


Most of the works posted here will be done by both of us, but we also have a handful of solo projects that we've worked on over the years.  We began by doing fan fiction together (which we are in the process of digging out of old computer files, storage tubs and piles of old journals to share with you!) but eventually, we found that our true passion lies in original works.  We still write the occasional fan work, but our publishing schedule keeps us pretty focused on the original novels. You can check out our website for more details on our work.
