          Im very disappointed in myself, but this is what my heart is telling me to do. I’m so very sorry to everyone who had supported me till the end. I can’t tell you guys enough how much I appreciated the loving comments and support in me taking a break. You guys were the best fans anyone could ask for and I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ words cannot express how much I loved my fans. 
          
          Maybe someday I will have the time and interest to finish this story till the end, but now is not that time. And it is unfair to lead you all on with the hope that I can. I’m truly very sorry. 
          
          I’m sure you are all very upset with me, and rightfully so, but just know this was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, so please trust that I would only do this for good reason. Please don’t flood my messages or comments with hate, because I already feel bad enough. It’s been a great few years with this story and you all, but it’s time for me to take an indefinite break. 
          
          Again, I'm so sorry and thank you all for your support and love, but it’s time for me to say goodbye. Best wishes to everyone. Gabelena forever! ❤️

Hello everyone. It is with a heavy heart that I am officially halting The Adventures of Queen Elena. 
          
          I know many of you will be upset, but let me explain…
          
          Over the years of writing this story, I had gone through many hardships, more than the average person in my opinion. I have gone through many changes in my life, some good and some bad. And through these difficult times, I kept pushing through them, trying to make it out ok. Trying to make time to log into wattpad and write a chapter. And for a while, I was able to. But over time I was unable to balance writing and my life, to the point where I hadn’t updated for a year and only logged into wattpad once a month to check in. At this point, I feel like I am no longer writing this story for myself. 
          
          Now I know we all experience difficult times, but my life outside of writing needed me and I needed it. I needed to keep living my life and not have to worry about meeting my fans expectations to update and satisfy their needs. It all became too much to handle. 
          
          I felt unappreciated at times, the tipping point was writing the last two chapters. Ones that I had carved a lot of time out of my busy day to do. Ones that I had pushed myself to write with little interest so my fans would be happy. I had put a lot of thought and love into those chapters, and they had gotten only a couple dozen votes compared to previous chapters which had had a couple hundreds votes. I had also lost some good friends on this app, for no reason, some just abandoned me. 
          
          I think I quit on this story a long time ago, but I was in denial. I was in denial because I loved this story so much and deep down I didn’t want to stop. Not just for myself, but for my fans. And I realized, I had been treating my fans badly by leading them on with my denial in being able to continue this story. But the truth is, I simply do not have the time anymore or the energy to finish this story.

Hello Everyone! I know it’s been a very long wait, but I will be releasing chapter 22 before next Friday. Thank you all for patiently waiting, I haven’t forgotten about you guys, I have just been very very busy. I appreciate all who have stayed with me and never gave up hope on me. And remember when I say, I never break a promise, because I promise I will finish this story!
