Another brilliant author has disappeared from this platform again, just as they were putting their books back up. If anyone knows PrinceKenzie / Ashley R Castillo at all, please let them know all their loyal readers are devastated at them being removed again. Perhaps switching to another platform such as Inkitt might be a good idea. I would happily purchase their books as well. At this stage, it feels like a vendetta against the author.

As an author I can tell you that I have been seriously considering leaving the platform because it feels exploitative. Readers either pay a subscription or watch ads to read content I write and post for free. I have never received a penny in compensation. I could publish ebooks and charge about 99¢/10,000 words for you and maybe be able to afford to pay an editor and actually build my career. That would make Daddy by Choice $2.99. Would you pay about the same as a cup of coffee to help your favorite authors out and get edited versions you can read with no ads? My kids write fanfiction and have switched to posting on AO3 because the readers don’t have to watch ads so their work they post for free isn’t being exploited, but I write original stories so they don’t have a place on AO3.

OMG, another author whose work I enjoyed has disappeared from Wattpad. If anyone knows where Margottju has gone, let me know. Their books were Lord's Husband and Lord's Boyfriend.
