Another brilliant author has disappeared from this platform again, just as they were putting their books back up. If anyone knows PrinceKenzie / Ashley R Castillo at all, please let them know all their loyal readers are devastated at them being removed again. Perhaps switching to another platform such as Inkitt might be a good idea. I would happily purchase their books as well. At this stage, it feels like a vendetta against the author.

            @widgetwonker I would happily pay $2.99 for Daddy by Choice. I pay more for a cup of coffee here in Australia. Your books are awesome.

As an author I can tell you that I have been seriously considering leaving the platform because it feels exploitative. Readers either pay a subscription or watch ads to read content I write and post for free. I have never received a penny in compensation. I could publish ebooks and charge about 99¢/10,000 words for you and maybe be able to afford to pay an editor and actually build my career. That would make Daddy by Choice $2.99. Would you pay about the same as a cup of coffee to help your favorite authors out and get edited versions you can read with no ads? My kids write fanfiction and have switched to posting on AO3 because the readers don’t have to watch ads so their work they post for free isn’t being exploited, but I write original stories so they don’t have a place on AO3.

@InnerFyre Gravity was different. I liked the sci-fi theme. I am looking forward to your next book. I'm curious to see what genre you will pick!

@MarsBars1974    Aw, thank you.   I prefer waiting for books to be finished to read them, so I'm planning to announce when it's finished, not announce every individual chapter.   (Although some people seem to be in it already!)
