I know it’s been a while since you have posted and idk if u even still look at this account but I wanted to let you know I still love your one story. Even unfinished it is by far one of my favorite fanfictions. It is so good I made my first comments ever on Wattpad on your story and this conversation post. I would just like to ask if you would be willing to finish this story? If not would you be willing to make one last update detailing what you have happened (Doesn’t even have to be sentences it could just be bullet points)? If neither of course that’s alright because it is your choice. Just please let me know what you decide if you see this comment. Thank you I appreciate it.

@kitty9270 When Carlos explains the convergence, he states that it happens once every 12 cycles. Each cycle obviously takes 12 years, so the convergence happens every 144 years. And because we know Steven is 14 during the Convergence, unless the old Tiger was 2 when he got the Zodiac, he needs to be at least 159 when Steven meets him. My favourite part was probably when Steven got to confront his mother. It really adds layers to Steven's character that we didn't get to see in the first. It gave a glimpse into his past and just the kind of people his parents are, to be manipulating their own son as a piece on the chessboard. For my least favourite, I'm gonna say it was Jasmine and Steven in the info sphere. Jasmine was so frustrating and arrogant in their conversation, not listening to him at all, casually dismissing him, claiming that she's the Dragon and that automatically makes her better. I see how my friend thought she was related to Maxwell after this book. I don't think the mirror was a mind trick by Carlos. He's too technical to try to trap the Dragon using emotions. As for the Zodiac magic, I want to know about it. I want to look behind the curtain, but Stan Lee didn't let us. I did finish Balance, and I think I came out of that book with more questions than answers. Mostly about what's the deal with the Dragon? What about it makes it so special that it develops its own conscience while the others don't? Why is it trying to destroy humanity? Have the Zodiacs of the past had to deal with a genocidal Dragon or is this an entirely different Dragon than the ones of the past? I did notice in the flashback that the Dragon of that era was missing. What happened to them? How was Carlos able to create a device that could not only hold the power of the Dragon, but two actual human beings without killing them? The plot was very confusing and I would have appreciated some more material to help expand on that.

Sorry I didn’t respond for so long. Life got busy. I don’t really have any questions about this book apart from what were ur favorite and least favorite parts? I honestly can’t remember mine. I like ur possible ideas to my questions. They make a lot of sense to me and they feel realistic for the book series. Also I could be wrong but I though the convergence happened once ever 114 years. Though I did get the mixed up with 144 so I might be wrong I don’t have the physical book with me. That would make the ages make slightly more sense but yeah the old tiger living for that long is probably just plot convenience. The mirror thing is kind of weird but it might just be a mind trick by Carlos that Jasmine believes because she loves him and he’s extremely intelligent. Some of the other weird stuff u could probably just chalk up to zodiac magic/whatever it actually is. Please lmk when u finish reading balance because I’d love to talk about the book. Not enough people talk about them and I’m happy someone else likes them. In the end again do everything at your own pace and have a great day/night!

@kitty9270 So I finished Dragon's Return and I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would. There are parts I disagree with, but it was overall an enjoyable read. I can see why my past self did not enjoy this as much because the story just does not explain things very much. Such as the technology of how they're able to harness Zodiac energy, how the old Tiger has even survived to be over 150 years old, the Dragon is apparently able to be defeated by a mirror, or this curse about the Zodiac disappearing after their time is over. There's apparently ancient technology that is able to hold literal energy and nobody talks about it because apparently nobody knows the Zodiac exists, even though it happens every 144 years. You'd think the past wielders would be making the history books, but no. As for Thiago, I think he was the one who approached the Lees to join forces. I think Maxwell does despise the brainwashing aspect of the Dragon. The first time with Vincent, he was angry and lashing out, not expecting the backlash. The next time with Carlos, he was desperate. He'd gotten a taste of power and needed it again like a drug addict. Imposing his will on Carlos probably made him feel like he was in control again, like he was the Dragon once more. Plus he probably felt really hurt when it turned out Carlos betrayed him and saw this as fixing a wrong. If Maxwell won at the end of the first book, he definitely would have gotten rid of Jasmine, kept Carlos for himself and probably offer the others the chance to join him. He was willing to let Steven join, and Josie seemed to be willing to let Duane join their team when they met in the first book. They would have refused though and Maxwell would have just drained them of their powers like he was doing to Steven. Now I'm onto Balance.
