"Friends to lovers" (extra points if they're childhood friends) is slowly and steadily replacing "enemies to lovers" as my favourite trope. In ETL (at least to me) the most thrilling parts are: watching them develop interest and attraction, being in denial, hating themselves for it, losing the fight and submitting to their desires and finally confessing their love. The "lovers" part is usually good but not as exciting. FTL though is all thrilling to me. The stollen glances and touches, the care, the softness(aww), the fear, the realization, the confession, the angst (it hurts so bad) and oh when they're finally together you can feel the love through the screen. It's so deep and so satisfying. OR I'M JUST HEALING AND BECOMING BORING AND SOFT IDK.

@MthegazeZeeMolaoa Anytime . It is so beautiful though, I've read nearly every book by Suki Fleet, her writing is just amazing and the way she brings out the emotions...is just wow! Now you have to try Soul Eater by Lily Mayne, it's more of an unlikely friends to lovers book and has a little aspect of fear to spice things up. I find fear attractive for some weird reason but it's a completely non-toxic relationship - I'd say more of intimidation really, but it's so good!
