When I first started publishing I was very consistent in posting updates and I would follow accounts with a lot of followers and they would follow me back, and then they started reading my books and sharing them. I also was active on Twitter and connected with other authors and readers. I think it helps too that my stories have detailed smut in them. It’s hard to find good smut writers. So many authors rob their readers after they’ve waited a long time for something to finally happen.
