then I read a book and I generally do not cry when consuming media? Like I’ll tear up if its really heart wrenching, but no crying

Because first of all, these are REAL PEOPLE, and they had REAL LIVES and WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE FACTS??? And then there’s “canon,” except is that even factual or is it just something that happens in the musical?? AND THEN THERE’S FANON. which is a whole other nightmare. In this essay, I will-
