"Why are you living in the past? Your friends are here for you. I'M here for you! Don't think of your mistakes, but what they have taught you. Don't be afraid to fail, especially if it costs your own happiness."
Nothing. Silence took over the girl's words. He stared at her in disbelief, turning his gaze away from her standing figure.
Then, she chuckled. Her was soft, but it was enough for him to hear her.
"I'm not afraid, Chandler. All my life has been a failure. My very existence is a failure. I bet my bottom dollar, I'm a failure even in disposing myself from this reality."
"But it wouldn't make anything better after you do. Mari, don't do this. For everyone's sake, please stay." He felt the tears brimming at the corner of his eyes. "We can work this reality out. Change it and make it better. If you could just let us in."
The corner of her lips twitched upwards.
"That's my problem. I can't work out this reality. There's no point in trying when it's already gone. But.... if I leave this cruel one-" she slowly held the pistol next to her head. "-and find a different place. A different r-reality... I can be finally happy."
She didn't stop the tears that were falling down her cheeks.
A/N Trash. See what I mean?
