ok so I have this best friend of mine for like uh lots of years right. we met in a minecraft server and , since then , been chatting for ages. and this friend of mine at the same time had other friends who introduced me and at some point of my life we were a quartet.
so I always liked one of these friends right. I dunno , he had kinda the vibes of a guy who doesn't talk that much and , when he does , he's funny , and he also drew like me [I've seen him grow up with his drawings and style and both of us were the older ones in the group].
some things happened that prevented me to keep talking with them on discord [ahem my mom] , and then we passed to whatsapp , and then I couldn't talk to them that much anymore [again , my mom] [and specially hurted me when this guy almost never started a conversation]. but this guy had always have something special with my best friend and I could SMELL it. my best friend told me he talked about his personal life with him and I was like 'yooo wtf really'.
so. a few days ago my best friend turned 18 and today he told me that this guy I've always had a crush on somewhat always had a crush on my best friend and now they're boyfriends. sure , I'm... happy for them , but it hurts when I've told my best friend a long time ago I liked this guy [or , at least , I remember doing it] and I've always joked about it in the group. I've never been the most non-obvious person.
and idk it... hurts to know that this guy had a crush on my best friend all this time and waited for him to have 18 just to tell him and ask him. and ofc everything's virtual but they had been my friends for a long time [and also been crushing with this guy for a long time] it just... hurts

@ludwingoo Yeouchhh, that is the worst move somebody could do... Sure, they're happy together, and you can't really do anything about the fact he likes someone else, but still. That hurts like shit to see, after talking about it for so long :(
