@MReads99 Just read Princess and ngl I'm a little disapointed.
The book was supposed to be about Damon and Aria but I feel like half of it was about Damon and Bella.
It bothered me a lot considering everyone in this book had a favorite person except for Aria, Christian had Robyne, Bella had Francis and Aria was supposed to have Damon but in his POV he just kept talking about his friendship with Bella and how they were soulmates and I understand that the author just meant it in a platonic way but it was mentioned in pretty much every single chapter that it overshadowed Damon and Aria's relashionship and how supposedly he always saw her.
It just felt like Aria wasn't the main character in her own book.
But their story was very good in my opinion when the author actually wrote about them without Damon's inner monologue about Bella.
Another thing that bothered me was the way Damon calls Bella MY little diva and Aria just princess, I felt like the nickname became impersonal compared to that.
Also Aria's relashionship with her father and how she easily forgave him was very confusing.
Overall compared to Papillon this book didn't meet my expectations.
It just felt like the author was doing too much trying to include the complexity of Christian and Robyne's relashionshipe and how special Damon and Bella's friendship is that it overshadowed his romance with Aria.
Still I liked this book, the writing was amazing and I loved Damon and Aria.
