"Janet made me keep my promise, and we played Dragon Ball Z on her playstation on Friday. It was actually quite fun, I'd do it again.
I called Ethan to come and pick me up in his car, and of course, he said he'd come in about twenty minutes.
"You guys.. I'm so proud of myself." Janet said.
"What? Why are you proud?"
"I matched you two up, you know. And now you're just like a care bear. Sickenly cute."
I shoved her. "Oh shut up." She grinned and cocked her head.
"Why?"
"Because I'm the queen and I said so? Duh!" I flicked my hair, and she laughed, hysterically. Her parents must have been used to it because her mom walked by the living room, and didn't seem too fazed.
"You are so bad, Alisa." She said, wiping her eyes. "Queen? This ain't your castle, this is mine! Anyway, I think your boyfriend is waiting for you outside, don't wanna keep that sucker waiting. Bye, Alisa!"
She waved me outside, before getting back to her game. Ethan wasn't there yet, as expected. Janet wouldn't let me inside her house anymore, so I had to stay outside and wait. I was on my phone, at first, still waiting and praising myself for being smart enough to bring gloves. I put my earphones in, and started listening to music, but the volume wasn't too loud, just in case
"Oh, well look who decided to drop by the neighbourhood." I looked up from the screen to Ella, who was standing right in front of me, her arms crossed.
Okay, I was confused. Didn't she want to stop talking to me? Why was she in front of me. "Er, hi." I said, anyway.
"Don't hi me!" She hissed. Okay, this was weird, and totally uncalled for. "You stole my man!" I sighed, flicking my hair to the side.
"Ella, I didn't do anything. I only got to read that note way after you ran away from me."
