            *   vali’s   lips   hung   parted   open   as   xe   breathed   heavily.   their   heart   pounded   and   they  quieted   it   harshly.   heat   invaded   xir   skin   like   frost   over   the   fresh   of   spring.   like   decomposition  wears   down  a   corpse,   this   tenderness  ( this affectionate less tenderness )  rots   their   body   to   ash. 
            
            they   WANTED.   they   yearned.   if   vali   was   presented   with   the   choice   to   kill   for   it   they   would.  xe  was   an   erased   figure   of   an   erased   nation.   this,   this   yearning   whether   animalistic   or   heartfelt,   has   been   the   only   thing   xe   has   allowed   their   emotions   to   succumb   to   in   a   century   of   years.

            THIS FIGHT KEPT HIM GOING,   and at times ryo truly desired the molten fury and clash of teeth,   the taste of iron fills his mouth.    FLESH AND BLOOD   —   A NATURAL COMPONENT.     he lusted for battle and he lusted for victory,     along with that he craved to touch vali,    calloused fingers run against their skin:   feverish touches run along their sides.
