Looking at my last update is somewhat bittersweet. My intention of diving back into writing was derailed a week after this post by the death of a close family member. That combines with health issues has kept me from writing much for two years, but I'm finally in a place where I can dive back into Eden's story. Good news, though, is I have numerous chapters to upload. Not as many as I'd like, but I'll get there eventually. The goal now is to finish writing the first draft of this mofo and get. it. done. Wish me luck!
After a much-too-long hiatus, I have returned—and brought several new chapters with me. I'm 2/3 of the way through the manuscript and will be chugging away the next few weeks to get. this. done.
A couple of new chapters up on PROJECT EDEN. I'm planning to devote this holiday weekend to writing like an antisocial recluse who has nothing better to do than stare at a screen for hours while pounding away on a keyboard. So basically every writer in existence ever. More to come...
After yet another extended absence from writing, life has calmed enough to where I can start working on Project Eden again. So if you've been waiting breathlessly for the story to continue, you should probably start breathing again, and then check back in a bit to see new chapters.
I just added two more chapters to PROJECT EDEN . . . but they're in the first third of the book, chapters 12 and 13. Turns out that a few months away from the book was good, as it showed me where a few details were missing. Those are the biggest changes, though I did edit a few things throughout the manuscript, but overall it's basically the same. So you don't need to worry about missing out on anything super important in those two chapters; it's more setting in place some things that need to be there early enough in the story so they can be used later on.
Eep! Sorry. Sadly, when family medical emergencies and personal illness hit, writing is one area that gets shoved to the side, but now that things are leveling out I'm finally ready to jump back into the whole writing thing again.

. . . and I'm back. Mostly. After a (much too long) hiatus from writing to focus on the day job and family stuff, I'm finally working on Project Eden again. New chapter is in progress and should be posted soon.
@melissamydarling OMG YES FINALLY! Now I must re-read from the beginning because I forgot most of it. But that is MORE than okay. After my finals I will be all over this book! Thank you!!!! :)

@FatedToPretend_ It took a little longer than I anticipated (only about six months...) but I just posted a new chapter to Project Eden.
@melissamydarling I sure hope you do. I am surprised such a talented writer as yourself has yet to be recognized. Have fun with the writing process. I'll be here when you post!
