I'm the type of person who gets lost in my imagination, coming up with all the "out-there" scenarios for things most people never notice. I like to entertain people and get outside of my own life drama--it's a great distraction and always has been.
I'm probably what you'd call a romantic realist. I love fiction, romance and fantasy, but am pretty down-to-earth in my real life. I'm a survivor and I'm drawn to strong characters who know how to stand up for themselves without walking all over other people.
Losing myself in a book is something I've always loved doing. Seeing life through another's eyes, experiencing what they are and feeling their emotions throughout their story is one of the best ways to get outside of my own head.
Most people have no idea what goes on in my head unless I want to share it. That's what's so great about writing, it's an outlet unlike anything else.
