Tempted to write a book with a sad ending...

soulsloverlife

Okay, so I’m not dead and I really can’t believe I’ve been on a break for five months. It honestly feels like it’s been more like five years.

Anyway, I’ve been working a little bit on a new story for the past week and I’m so excited to share it with you guys. I’m not going to give out the trope or what it’s about yet—just know that I’m sure you guys will love it. At least I hope you will.

I’m not sure when I’ll release it, but I’m hoping at least by May or June. And if you have any questions, please feel free to ask! You can comment here or message me on Instagram. My DMs are always open to anyone.

Anyway, I love you guys. ❤️

Hey guys, soulsloverlife here or Kaylah my ugly ah name (Yes, I name loathe my own name stupid isn’t it) Well, this isn’t the kind of announcement I ever thought I’d have to make, but here we are.

I’ll be taking a break from writing and publishing new books for a while. How long? Honestly, your guess is as good as mine. It could be a week, a couple of weeks, a few months, or maybe even a year — time is fake anyway, right? I just really need to step back and focus on my mental health for a bit. Writing has always been my escape, my therapy, my chaos, but lately it’s also been what’s draining me. And when the thing you love starts to hurt more than it heals, it’s time to hit pause.

Don’t get me wrong — this doesn’t mean I’m disappearing completely. I’ll probably still write here and there when inspiration hits or when my brain decides to cooperate. But for now, I need to focus on myself and remember what life feels like outside of plot twists and character breakdowns (mine included). I’ll still be around—posting teasers on TikTok and Instagram, because let’s be honest, I love tormenting you all with sneak peeks and half-spoilers

Please understand that this isn’t goodbye — just a much-needed “see you later.” I’ll be back, sooner or later. Thank you for always supporting me, loving my stories, and being the best community a writer could ask for. I love you guys so much.

          Love,
          Soulsloverlife
