So here I am at 6am, half-awake, aggressively Googling my own story like a detective on a mission just to make sure nothing shady is going on. So far, we’re in the clear… but the fact that I even have to check like this?? Yeah, I’m a little traumatized not gonna lie .

It’s a forbidden romance about a girl living a secret double life and the one man she was never supposed to fall for… her father’s most trusted right-hand man. Secrets, danger, loyalty, and a slow-burn tension that could ruin everything.

@carnaldebauchery I feel like I should be able to write this book fast since I have everything planned out. Ending, chapters, characters, religions, dynamics, cultures, everything. I just need to write it.

@LemonLoaf you can't write stories fastly unless if you have enough stockpile and drafts that just need a bit editing and you are good to publish it :)) you can try writing in free time and posting it week wise

Hi, Vera. I just read your posts from the notifications I received. I am so sorry that you experienced that. As a writer, it is terrifying and frustrating to know that anyone can steal our work once it is published, whether online or in print. Like the moment it's out, you are serving them a platter, but each writer’s works deserve to be out, loved, and not hidden. So, for you to go through that. Under The Texas Stars is still on RosyFox but they changed the title to Chasing Phoebe and changed the cover. Ugh, this makes me so mad

Ugh…they replied to my email with a “done” when I reported your story as stolen. I responded that they weren’t done because they simply changed the name. Not sure what cost is involved, but you might want to scope out dmca.com which helps writer’s protect their work. I hope you are able to start publishing on Amazon.

I’m sure Under the Texas Stars is great, but I must ask, how did you get so many views on it? I’m trying to increase views on mine.
