Durga Bahadur Basnet, grew up in the remote village of Phulkharka in the Dhading district of Nepal and was fortunate enough to be able to complete his school level education. From 1985 - till now he has been working in tourism industry and he has devoted his entire life in Travel and Tourism. Government of Nepal has awarded him with several awards because of his contribution in tourism sector and social activities. At the beginning, he gathered experience and knowledge about this field by guiding trekkers to different regions of Nepal. i.e. Everest, Mustang, Langtang, Annapurna, to name just a few from his huge achievement. These stints at trekking furthered his interest in this field and he established a company "Visit View Nepal Treks & Expeditions".
Being a founder of Visit View Nepal Treks & Expedition, he constantly comes up with different ideas as to how to promote sustainable tourism in Nepal and also better the tourism business for Nepal as a whole, not only for own company. Along with that, he examines that our guests are being served well and our guests are benefited too with our better facilities. Mr. Basnet is also determined to lead the tourism industry in sustainable tourism and community development initiatives. "Our programs are designed to provide standard services and exceptional experiences for our clients. Our company is structured to provide career and educational opportunities for our staff while developing and supporting programs that give back to our communities." His other interest apart from trekking is traveling, he likes to visit new places and meet new people. He is also actively engaged in social activities by helping disadvantaged children from his background, to support education in his village thus empowering them to have a better life.
