Colleen POV

I feel a million times better then I did when I came home 5 days ago but today there is something off. Josh hired an amazing nurse who helps me with everything from med and pain control to dressing and bathing. The only thing I can do by myself or with Josh is feeding myself. I hear Josh walk through the door with Lilly right behind him. "Lilly remember no jumping on mommy!" She climbs up onto the bed and slowly makes her way to me. I hug her so hard and kiss her head. "Lilly mommy needs the computer can you pass it to me?" I ask her. Josh passes Lilly the computer so she can pass it to me. "Lilly mommy needs your help babe. Can you help organize Noahs birthday party with me and you and Daddy can go shopping?" I ask. Josh looks at me shocked. "Yes!!!!" she says so excitedly. "Ok lets look online and make a checlist and you and daddy can go to the store and get everything okay?" Lilly is diligently listening to me make my list nodding and pointing at pictures of what she thinks Noah would like. It really warmed my heart. I pass Josh the list and Lilly jumps off the bed and runs down the hall telling Josh to hurry. "You created a monster babe" he says laughing. "It will keep her and you busy. Noah deserves his first birthday party to be great" I say. I kiss him and hug him tight. "I can get it all you don't have to do a thing babe" he says. "I am doing the cake but I don't need to do that for another few weeks." I say. Josh doesn't look happy. "Babe we can order one. Its too much." he says. "Josh please. Its my only sons first birthday. I am doing it. I will keep it simple" I reply. He smiles and nods. Its now July 12th and his birthday isn't til August 1st. 

Josh POV

Lilly and I are getting our shoes on and we tell the nurse we are going out for a bit. Its the first time out since Colleen got home. My parents are still here so they watch Noah and Paige. We step into the car and we are on our way. Lilly is chatting a mile a minute in the backseat. She reminds me so much of Colleen. She loves her family and especially her siblings. We get to the store and buy what Colleen wanted including some invitations. I then treat Lilly to lunch at In and Out and she loves it just as much as her mom does. We finish up and start the drive home. I see a car I don't know in the driveway when I pull in. I go to get Lilly out of the backseat. I walk in the house and see a mans pair of shoes I don't recognize. My mom comes up to me with a concerned look. "Its Colleen" she says and thats all it took for me to start bolting up the stairs. I see a doctor checking her heart rate and Jamie our nurse is right beside him explaining something to him. Colleen looks at me "Josh don't worry please" she says. "Whats happening?" I ask. Jamie starts saying "Colleen was complaining she couldn't get a deep breath and has a high fever so I called the doctor". I sit on the bed with her. "When did that start Colleen?" I ask her. She looks at me and I could tell she didn't want to tell me the truth. She gave us that birthday list to get me out of the house so I wouldn't worry when Jamie had to call the doctor I thought. I was upset "Jamie why didn't you call my cell? Colleen why are you hiding things from me?" I said upset and angry now. Jamie grabbed my arm and I instantly quieted down. The doctor was on the phone ordering meds to be sent over to the house. He spoke to Jamie and Jamie left the room and came back in 2 seconds later. She had an oxygen mask and placed it on Colleens face. "Mr Evans I am gonna keep Colleen on oxygen for the next 24 hours as she has a major chest infection and it will help her breathe" the doctor says. "Okay" I say and start holding Colleens hand. Such a set back. My poor Colleen.
