Doctors orders

Josh POV

I hired a nurse to take care of Colleen. I was not taking chances for the days she needed to recuperate at home. We had an appt with Dr Jansen today. I helped Colleen get ready. She wasn't 100% but much better than on my birthday. Her lips were pale as I watched her put on some makeup. "How you doing today?" I ask her. " I am good babe" she replies and smiles. We go downstairs and jump in the car. Lilly is with Chris and Jess for a few days to give us a break. We drive and Colleen falls asleep. All I can think is its starting again. We get to the doctors and go to sit and wait for the doctor. Dr Jansen comes in and sees what happened to Colleen a few days ago. She prescribes a prescription to help give her more energy, stronger than the shots. That worries me. Her blood pressure is so low the doctor says she is on the fence about admitting her to hospital. She then weighs her and she had lost weight since two weeks ago. I could feel tears in my eyes. Dr Jansen told her to start eating better and told me make sure she eats... Wake her up if I have to. I nod. The doctor could see I was upset. She then told Colleen she would admit her to hospital if she gets worse. Colleen starts to cry. Dr Jansen apologizes to her but explains she is trying to think of the baby and her health. Colleen nods.

Colleen POV
I have tears in my eyes. I need to try harder to get better. Think positive. Josh grabs my hand and says "babe please let me help you get better... Don't fight me ok?" I nod. We walk out and pick up my medicine at the drugstore. We grab some Starbucks and walk along the beach. I instantly feel better ."I love the sun" I say as I lay back in the sand. Josh smiles and lays back too. We are holding hands, looking up at the sky, laying in the sand. My perfect date. " love you Joshua" I say. "Love you more" he says.
" Want to go home hun? " I ask " I need to cuddle." "Sure babe anything you want" he says. We go home and climb into bed, order pizza and snuggle.😃
