Whenever Your Ready(PT.1)

3rd POV

3 days later Kara was back at her apartment.

Kara had finally arrived from Argo City. She was so glad that she got away from work and saving the world for a little bit. But now it was time to face her real problems. The nervous blonde decided to head over to the DEO to see Lena. Maybe she had already woken from her coma already. Who knew? Alex didn't know Kara was back from Argo City. So the blonde hasn't heard anything from Alex about Lena's state.

"KARA!!!!", Alex said as she ran to her sister who was standing by the entrance of the DEO. "Kara why didn't you tell me you were already here?!!", she told her as she gave her a slight punch on her shoulder. 

"I wanted to surprise you guys!", kara said with a happy smirk on her face, as her cheeks glowed this light shade of pink. "Come here!! I have missed you so fucking much!", Alex told her as she held her arms out for a hug. "Me too, bring it in!!", Kara nodded, reaching her arms out to her sister for a hug. 

"Danvers hugs are the best hugs.", 

"Agreed!", they both said with laughter in their voices.

"How-Hows Lena?! Has she woken up yet?", the worried heroine asked her sister. "I-uh, Kara, she hasn't shown any signs that she's ready to wake up, am sorry." the anxious director told her sister as she slowly looked away.

"Can-can, I-uh, see her?", kara asked Alex as she wiped her tears away. "Yea, follow me.", Alex grabbed karas hand and guided her to where Lena was at. "I'll leave you two alone", Alex had walked out of the room, leaving Kara and Lena by themselves.

"Lena, it's me, Kara, I know you probably can't hear me but am just gonna say it... I am sorry. I am sorry that I hurt you. That I lied to you every single day about my secret, about me being Supergirl. I was just so afraid to lose you. I didn't want to lose you. You were my everything. I would always smile when I would be around you. You made me laugh with your stupid jokes that I never really understood, but did. Hahaha. You gave the best hugs, don't tell Alex I said that. They just make me feel so warm inside, your comfort always gave me this feeling in my stomach, butterflies. Lena... you're the reason. The reason why I started to feel that feeling. I figured out who I am, who I want to be, because of you. I am bi, Lena. You're the first that I have come out to. Lena, the first time we met, I knew I wanted you. But I just wasn't so sure till that day we had lunch in your office. 3 months ago, Lena. I started to feel something, something more for you. I was just so afraid to tell you because I  didn't know if you felt the same way. So here it goes Lena, am telling you. I-uh... I like you, Lena, I always have. I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship. I don't want it to ruin our friendship. So if you can hear me, Lena, just know that I'm here. I'll be waiting for you. Whenever your ready, Lena, you can come by my apartment whenever you are ready to talk to me. I won't leave again, I promise, I'll be by your side forever.", kara began to cry really loud and screaming into a pillow as she told Lena everything. She grabbed Lena's hand, giving it a small kiss and slowly placing it back down on the bed.

Alex had knocked on the door and slowly entered the room where Kara and Lena were at. 

"Hey, Kara? Are you ok? I heard screaming coming from over here. Are you alright?!", Alex got closer to her sister to comfort her and giving her a hug, which kara rejected at first but fell into her arms, accepting her soothing.

"Alex, I want her to wake up already! I can't keep looking at her like this. It breaks my heart!", kara had said as she sobbed into her sister's shoulder.

"I know Kar! I know! She going to wake up soon, I promise.", Alex told her as she rubbed her sister's back to calm her down."But what if she doesn't! I can't live without her Alex! I need her!", kara back away from the hug and started to pace around the room.

"Kara?! Is there something you're trying to tell me here?!", Alex said with a concerned look on her face.

"I-uh, I-"

"Kara!"

"OK! Alex, there's this thing I have been keeping from you. Things actually!"

"Do you wanna talk about it? We can go to another room if you wanna talk about it kara.", Alex said.

"I-uh, yea.", "Let's go to the locker rooms.", Alex grabbed Kara by the hand and took her to the locker rooms.

"ok. now, what's going on kara?"

"Alex, I did something bad, really terribly bad, about a week ago." kara looked away in the opposite direction from Alex so she wouldn't see her reaction when she told her about the cutting. "I-i cut myself." 

"YOU WHAT!!?? KARA YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD STOP! YOU PROMISED MEE!!!", Alex didn't want to get mad at her but kara had promised her, years ago that she wouldn't cut herself anymore. But she did it anyway. "Kara, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gotten mad at you like that. Why did you cut yourself?", Alex tried to calm down as Kara was going to explain why she broke the promise.

"I was going through a really tough time, Lena was in a coma, and Lena and I had gotten into a fight, I wasn't eating, I wasn't sleeping, I didn't even go to work. I was broken, Alex. And no one even bothered to check on me. I cried each night for Lena to wake up. I would pray to Rao that she would come back to me. But she didn't, she hasn't. There's also something else I haven't told anyone, just Lena right now when I was in the room, but I don't think she could hear me. I-I'm Bi Alex. I never told anyone because I was so scared you guys would think less of me.", kara had gotten up from the bench she was sitting on and started to pace around nervously.

"Kara? Kara! Look at me! It is ok. I'm sorry that I didn't check up on you, I'm sorry I wasn't here for you when you needed someone. And my SISTERS BI!!!! AHHHH! I couldn't be a prouder sister!! This is so exciting Kara! What were you so afraid of! Like your big sister is fucking gay, come on like am not gonna accept you for you!?? Really Kara!! Come on bring it in, why you just standing there like an awkward dork.", Alex said with excitement in her voice.

"So your not mad at me for any of this?! Not even the cutting?!", kara was trying to process what had just happened. But she reached her arms out to her sister for a hug. "Ok, bring it in!"

"AHAHA YAYY!!! GAY DANVERS HUG!!!", Alex with excitement in her voice once again.

"I love that!!" 

"Alex, wait, I need to give something to Lena before I head back home."

"Alright, do you want me to walk you to the room?"

"Actually I can do this on my own, this time."

"Ok!"

Kara headed to the room where Lena was, holding the bracelet in her hand. She entered the room and sat down on the chair where she would usually sit when she would talk to her. She grabbed Lena's hand and carefully placed the bracelet on her wrist.

"This is for you Lee! It was my father's, and now it's yours! El Mayarah. Stronger Together. I hope you wake up soon Lena! I really miss you! I want to hug you again and see you smile. I want to see those heterochromia eyes of yours. I miss seeing your beautiful eyes everyday. Getting lost in them gave me the best feeling in my stomach, the butterflies to be exact. Well, Goodnight Lee! I am going to call you that now if it's alright with you. You cant hear me, I forgot. I'll see you tomorrow Lee! Goodnight, and wake up soon, please!"

Kara headed out the door and headed toward Alex to say Goodnight.

"Good Night, Alex!"

"Night Kara! I'll ring you if Lena wakes up! I love you, and be careful when you head home!", Alex told her with a demanding sister voice.

"I love you too Alex! Thank you for everything!

Kara headed out of the DEO and went to her apartment to get some rest.

Kara laid in bed and drifted into her dreams, and fell asleep. Kara was glad most things were going back to normal. She and Alex were close than ever. She was back home with her family, but there was just one thing missing, Lena. That's when she heard this ringing noise coming from her kitchen countertop. It was her phone that was ringing. It was Alex...
