The Talk

Lena

Kara had seemed very off in our lunch yesterday. I had asked her if she was fine, but she lied straight to my face. She had zoned out when I was talking about how I was going to host a gala in celebration of renaming my company, from Luthor- Corp to L-Corp. I had noticed she was looking at me differently. She was looking deep into my eyes and admiring my lips. I have never seen her do that, appreciating my physical figures. I was worried about her I wasn't sure if something was going on with Kara. I mean she hadn't come to my office today, she missed our lunch date because she said she had loads of work for Snapper, her boss. I wanted to call her but I texted her instead.

Lena: Hey Kara, I have been thinking about you, I have been really worried about you. is everything ok?

Kara: Hey Lena, am doing alright. why?

Lena: You seemed off last time we had lunch. you haven't passed by my office, you missed our lunch date and you haven't called.

Kara: I- i- have been thinking about some things, that's all.

Lena: do you wanna talk about it?

Kara: I- I- don't wanna talk about it Lena, it's just something I need to figure out on my own.

Lena: are you sure Kara? I can come over if you need someone right now.

Kara: actually, I do need someone right now.

Lena: am on my way. be there in 10.

Kara: ok. bye. talk soon

Lena: alright

3rd POV

Lena had arrived at Kara's apartment. "come in!", kara said in an excited but slightly sad voice. Lena had never been to Kara's apartment, this was the first. She noticed the walls were a creamy-white color, but also had some brick sides. The kitchen had this brick-like wall near the stove. She had an easel with a painting on it. "I didn't know Kara painted", she thought to herself. Lena headed towards Kara, who was sitting on the gray-colored couch. Lena sat down next to Kara setting her bag on the floor next to the couch. 

"Hey Kar, what's going on?!" "She called me Kar!!", she thought to herself. "Relax Kara, relax!" she told herself. "I know I have been so distant from you Lena, am sorry." kara said looking down at her hands and fixing her glasses. " Hey, Hey, Kara look at me, it's ok," she said in a calming tone. "It's jus- I been having this feeling that I have never felt before."," Feeling? What do you mean Kar?" Kara started to get really nervous as she tried to build up the courage and words for what she was about to ask Lena. 

"Lena, how did you find out you were Bi?", "Well, Kara, I found out when I was about 17 years old, I had always had more of an attraction to women than men, but I still felt something for men. I knew I was Bi when I started to feel something for this girl I was friends with in college. She had these beautiful figures, both facial and body. And that's how I found out!"

 "Why do you ask?", Lena said with a concerned look on her face. "I- uh. I was just wondering," she said as she messed around with her hands. "Kara?", Lena said as she placed her hand gently on Kara's lap. Kara had slowly lifted her head up to look Lena in the eyes. "Yes!", " Kara, are you-" She got cut off by Kara, "I don't know.", "Kara its ok, am your best friend and am going to help you to figure this out, ok your not gonna do this by yourself, you understand?", she said the last part with her CEO voice. "Ok.", she said as she slowly looked down. 

"Now!", Lena said with excitement in her voice. "Come with me!", "Where are we going?!", kara said with a concerned but worried look on her face. "We are going on a little walk!", " Walk, at 12 am in the morning? Are you crazy Lena! It is super late, plus I have work tomorrow!", "No you don't, I'll call Cat and let her know you will be having the week off!", "Fine, let me grab my coat!" kara quickly grabbed her coat and headed out the door with Lena. "Now, let's go have some fun!"
