3rd POV

"Are you ready Kara?!", lena said with excitement in her voice. Lena was waiting for this moment since the blonde walked into her office.She finally got the chance to take the girl of her dreams on an unforgettable first date. The first date. The start of a new relationship. With the kara danvers. She felt so happy, that no words could ever describe her love for this girl. The way she smiled, her blue ocean eyes, the scar just above her left eyebrow, and the awkwardness. This was more than what she could have asked for in a girlfriend. This was perfect. She was perfect.

"I'm ready Lee!", a voice from a distant spoke. Kara was more than excited, she was elated, jubilant! She had this feeling, the same feeling in her stomach when she started falling. Falling for the CEO. It was that butterfly affection again. She loved this feeling. It felt so warm, so, so...safe.

"Oh. Rao!" kara said as she gazed upon the brunette who was wearing this beautiful dress. It was a red dress, with a floral pattern. Her hair was parted on the side and straightened.

"Like what you see Mrs. Danvers?!...Well then don't just stand there we've got a date to go to! Let's go!", Lena said as she grasped Kara by the waist, and walked out of the apartment.

"You look beautiful, Kara! Absolutely stunning! You're a sight for sore eyes, but my eyes only!", Lena said with a slight blush.

"What can I say! I look good in tight dresses!", kara said with a chuckle. They headed out of the apartment and started to walk towards the surprise location.

The thought that ran through Kara's mind as they walked was, "where was she taking me?" Each day, this question popped in Kara's head. She never figured it out. But today she was.

"So where are you taking me, Mrs. Luthor?" kara said with a slight smirk on her face. "That's a surprise-Luv!" Lena said as she got a tighter grip of her.

Lena had walked Kara down a hill, then onto a harbor, by the lake. The location where Lena decided to take Kara was magical. There was a sunset in the background, you could hear the sound of rippling water, and the wind's breeze. But the best part about this was the boat. Lena didn't want to make this an ordinary date. She wanted it to be unforgettable. So she wanted to take Kara to a secret place. A lighthouse.

"Get in! I'm taking you on an adventure!", Lena said as she reached her hand out to Kara. "Don't be scared, Luv. You're going to love it. I promise!"

Kara hopped onto the boat, slightly falling as she stepped both her feet in. "I got you, don't worry.", Lena said as she held kara in her arms. They stared into each other's eyes for a few minutes. Admiring their features.

"I never thought, I'd save The Girl of Steel," Lena said as she slowly raised kara up, back on her feet.

"I-thank you, for catching me. If it weren't for you I'd fall in the water.", Kara said as she adjusted her glasses and looked down. "Don't worry, I've always got you. I promise.", Lena leaned in to kiss kara. Connecting her lips with the blondes. She almost forgot how her soft lips felt against her. I mean she hadn't kissed her since last night.

"Wow!", kara backed away and place her hand on her lips. Trying to process their powerful kiss. "Every time we kiss, it feels so powerful and full of love!", Lena said.

"It does- doesn't it?", Kara said as she looked into the eyes of the brunette. "Now, how about we continue this night-? Let me take you somewhere, peaceful!"
