Jealousy

3rd POV

    The sun was shining through the curtain. The clock read 5:00 am. Kara was floating in mid-air, Lena was sleeping in the bed. Everything was finally going back to normal. Or was it? There were a few things that went through Lena and Kara's minds. About how they felt towards each other. They both had so many questions, that needed answers.

   Did they have feelings for each other? If one had feelings for the other, then did they like them back? If they did, would this change everything? The friendship they built over the last 3 years. The thing was that how could they find out they had feelings for each other if they didn't know how to explore them.  How could they possibly find out if something could go on between the two? If they could make it work.

Things were getting complicated each day. Emotions, feelings, thoughts were rushing in and out. One day Lena would question her feelings for Kara, the next she would forget about them. Kara on the other hand, well she would see Lena and immediately start to panic. A gay panic attack to be exact.

   Unlike Kara, Lena could hide her emotions, or basically anything. She could pretend everything was completely fine, but Kara would always blush, get a crinkle in between her eyebrows, and get really nervous.

    It was 8 am. Lena rubbed her eyes and blocked the sun's glare with one of her hands. She turned to see that Kara was still floating in the air, but her blanket was on the floor. Lena quietly got up from the bed and walked towards Kara so she could cover her with the blanket that had fallen to the ground. Right when she about to place the cover on her, Kara got startled and fell to the ground.

"OMG! Kara are you okay? I didn't mean to startle you!!", Lena fell to the ground to make sure Kara was okay.

"Yea I'm fine! I just got scared! HAHA! I thought someone broke into my house!"

"No, it's just me! Now come on, or we are gonna be late for work!", Lena said with a serious tone in her voice.

"Oh! I forgot I had to go back to work today! I need to get ready!! I have something important to do today!", kara mentioned with excitement in her voice.

"What is it?!!"

"I-uh, uhh-"

"It's fine, you don't have to tell me! Well, I must get going, I need to head over to my penthouse and get a change of clothing because I will not be going to work in your clothes! No offense! But I want to wear my suit.", Lena said.

"I-uh, I can fly you over there if you want!? I mean I can get ready in less than 5 secs! WOOSH!  See!! Ready!"

"I-umm, Fine, but this will be the only time I will fly with you!"

"YAYY! OK, now let's go, you don want to be late for your first day back at work do you?!", kara said with joy as she walked towards the balcony.

"Yea I don't!"

Kara and Lena arrived at Lena's penthouse. Lena had taken shower and got dressed as quickly as she could. Lena decided to wear one of her new suits. It was a 3-piece suit, maroon. The top was see-through lace, but the neck had more of a floral-like design. Her hair was simply picked up in a low side-parted ponytail.

"Alrighty, I'm ready!! Let me just make myself a coffee real quick!", Lena said as she walked towards the kitchen to make her coffee.

"I-uh, I-umm. You-uh, Lena-you, uh. You look, uhh"
