For the first time in a long while, she was accompanied to King's Cross station, not by her Mum nor her Dad but with someone she truly cared for.

Ivory never returned to Korbeil Manor ever since she left instead she ran away with her lover, she's been happier ever since and he made sure of that. As for her brother, Ivan, he moved to France and lives with his french girlfriend. Officially working as a full time Curse Breaker.

Ivory didn't mind being far away from Ivan because the two siblings promised to visit one another at least once a year and that was enough to keep them in touch. In fact, Ivan would owl her from time to time and make sure she was okay.

"Look at the bright side, I get to spend more time with you before I leave to take on my career as a professional Quidditch player." He said with a cocky grin as they searched through the train for an empty compartment.

"No no, you're spending time with me in the library, NOT only devising Quidditch tactics BUT STUDYING." She scolded him, emphasizing her words.

"But love!" He whined, his smirk dropping into a frown.

"No buts. I don't want you to repeat seventh grade for a third time." Ivory said seriously, she dragged her boyfriend into an empty compartment and sat next to each other.

It was the same compartment she had carved her last name in the beginning of her sixth grade. It reminded her of how much she's changed over a year, Ivory was no longer bounded to a curse.

The train ride was comfortably silent as the two held hands throughout the voyage. Ivory was doing some advance reading like she always did at the start of school term. She had her attention focused down upon her copy of The Standard Book Of Spells Grade 7, already reviewing this year's lessons in Charms class.

Marcus on the other hand was too busy admiring her appearance today. She was wearing his Quidditch jumper again. It was a habit of hers to grab something to wear regardless of whose it was. Specifically his jumper because she once stated that it was comfortable even though it was too big for her. She didn't even have to try to fix her hair, it was always perfect.

Ivory felt her hand being squeezed, she looked to her right and softly smiled at their laced fingers. She squeezed his hand back as her gaze shifted up to his face. Ivory leaned in and pecked his cheek.

"I love you." He whispered to her, leaving her speechless.

Ivory gazed back at him in surprise. She knew one day they'd exchange these words but she didn't think it'd be this soon. Then she realized that she had been staring at him for the past five minutes whilst Marcus was still waiting for her response. Her silence was starting to worry him.

"I- love you too, Marcus..." Ivory blurted out lowly, her face heating up in an instant.

Ivory hadn't said this to anyone in years and saying it now made her realize how much Marcus truly meant to her. She saw the corner of his lips curl upwards into his infamous smirk that she so adored.

"What was that, love? Couldn't hear you over the train." He teased.

"I said I hate you." She snapped, rolling her eyes at him.

Feeling annoyed, Ivory pulled her hand away from his and crossed her arms over her chest like a child. She didn't look at him, her gaze was fixed upon the moving trees outside the window. Marcus only chuckled at her reaction, snaking an arm around her waist.

"You're so cute when you're angry." He placed a finger under her chin, forcing her to look at him.

Marcus caught her sweet lips into his, kissing her passionately as her heart skipped a beat. Her face softened, leaning herself into him and proceeded to deepen the kiss.
