The headmaster and the Head of Slytherin House had visited her as soon as they received word that Ivory had awoken.

Professor Severus Snape being the expertise in the Dark Arts had lifted off the curse permanently, it wasn't an easy process but the Potions Master still managed to do it in the end.

"You did what you thought was right and by telling me proved that you are far more braver than you thought you were. It is not up to the people we love who make us who we are, that is precisely up to us." He said wisely, his electric blue eyes glinting brightly behind his half moon spectacles.

"You won't tell my father... will you?" Ivory anxiously asked, she was afraid of what her father might do to her after hearing what she had done. She wasn't ready to face him yet.

"Your father doesn't have to know a thing." Dumbledore merely smiled.

It didn't take long for Ivory to be discharged from the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey saw that she was fit to leave the next morning. As soon as she made an appearance in the Slytherin common room, Terence was the first person to acknowledge her existence.

"Ivy!" Terence skidded towards the passageway and engulfed Ivory into a rib-breaking hug.

"Terence, you're squeezing the bloody life out of me!" Ivory struggled under his deadly hug, ignoring the many pairs of eyes staring at the two.

Turns out, Dumbledore had informed her friends on the unfortunate events... although he had left out the part about her father being a deatheater and as to where she received the curse from. Saying that it wasn't in his shoes to tell them and it was up to Korbeil whether to let them know or not. And it seemed that Flint refused to talk either, keeping his jaw glued shut even after his best friend, Miles, had bribed him multiple times.

So the moment they were out of earshot from other students, the boys had immediately bombarded her with many questions and she didn't seem so hesitant to answer them.

They were currently under the beech tree that stood by the Black Lake. Wanting to enjoy the sunlight and fresh air since she hadn't had some for three whole days. Ivory was pacing back and forth as she spoke to them about the events of that particular day.

It left the rest of the Slytherin Team in utter shock. There was a long silence amongst the group where the six boys were processing what she just said. It seemed that Lucian took the longest despite the fact that he was as slow as a snail when it came to processing information.

"You were a Parselmouth this WHOLE TIME!" Miles was the first to speak and break the long silence.

Ivory nodded and kept her gaze fixed down upon the grass, not daring to meet their gazes. Ivory should've told someone at the beginning of these attacks... especially Terence.

"Why-why didn't you tell us?! Why didn't you tell me?! I'm your best friend for Merlin's sake!" After finding his voice to speak, Terence was in complete outrage and she couldn't blame him.

"I... didn't think you'd care." Ivory admitted, fiddling with the ends of her sleeve.

Dumbledore never mentioned the scarring to any of them and neither did Marcus, they knew it was best for them not to know. And she'd like to keep it this way.

Marcus knew she wanted to keep the rest of the events to herself and he respected that, he decided not to let anything else slip. Especially the part where she nearly died.

"Well you're wrong! I do care about you, we care about you-" Terence pointed at himself before gesturing his hand towards the team.
