Ivory and Ivan were discussing matters privately outside the garden. Deciding what would happen next, not having a single clue as to where she would be residing in now that she had literally left the Manor and can never return.
"You can always stay in France with me, my girlfriend won't mind. Besides we're legal adults now." Ivan suggested but by the look on Ivory's face, she didn't fancy that idea.
"But what about Hogwarts? My studies?"
"I suppose you could just transfer to Beauxbatons." He shrugged, there really wasn't any other wizarding institute in France other than Beauxbatons. All the other Wizarding schools were too far while others only accepted wizards and purebloods.
"And leave this all behind? I can't even speak french for Merlin's sake!" Ivory said in frustration, now regretting for losing her temper earlier and landing herself into this mess.
Ivory took the time to tell Ivan everything that happened this year, it was quite hard to convince him not to apparate back into Korbeil Manor to finish off Leonard for what he did. So Ivan spent the entire day trying to release that anger in a very nasty Quidditch game with the Slytherin Team.
As for Ivory, she spent the rest of the day shortening her life expectancy. She still hadn't properly recovered from what had happened, refusing to eat lunch and dinner. The boys respected her space, understanding that she needed sometime alone either in the private library or in the guestroom that she now resided in after Mrs. Pucey had found out Ivory had ran away from her parents. Adrian's mother being the sweetest person in the wizarding world allowed her to stay for as long as she desired but Ivory wasn't planning on remaining here for too long.
Here she was outside in the nighttime breeze, lying down on the grass in the middle of the small Quidditch field whilst staring up at the starry sky. Everyone was asleep by now despite it being an hour before midnight... or at least that's what she thought.
The ash tray that lay beside her was filled with many cigarette butts. Her hand was wrapped dangerously tight around a Firewhiskey bottle that was now half empty. Ivory needed something stronger to take the pain away. If only her brother could see her now, he'd probably flip out by the amount of Firewhiskey she had just inserted into her body.
It was saddening, so saddening to watch her fall apart. The smart and strong girl he once knew that had kicked his arse in the Dueling Club, was now looking so helpless. It was the Ivory he had never seen before. She was slowly destroying herself and he needed to stop her.
He had always thought that she was the epitome of perfection when in fact he was absolutely wrong. Little did he know that behind those beautiful emerald green eyes, many dark secrets lie hidden and there was still one more that she hadn't spilled yet.
"This won't solve any of your problems. I should know, I've tried it before." Said a deep voice, referring to the half drunk Firewhiskey. He joined her on the ground, sitting right next to her.
"But it does distract you from them." Ivory gave a short laugh, taking another swig from the bottle. Becoming more tipsy each sip she took.
There was a moment of silence in which Marcus was destroying the environment, plucking at the lushes grass.
"Your brother makes a fine Beater." Marcus recalled the match a few hours ago in which he nearly lost his head after dodging a blazing bludger that Ivan had sent him. If only Ivan had attended to Hogwarts and been sorted into Slytherin House, Marcus would've definitely took him into the team.
"He's the only reason why I know how to play Quidditch." Ivory giggled, she didn't know why she did that but it was probably the effects of Firewhiskey.
