I felt so tired during class, I didn't have time to eat an energy bar because there was traffic on our way to school.
The twins didn't make anything better with their continuous poking and jokes.
I'm very introverted and lose energy very quickly when I hang around people. Especially loud people ex: the Hitachiin twins.
I could barely remember what my teachers were teaching throughout the first half of classes, it was all a blur to me.
Once the bell rang, signaling that lunch was starting, I stumbled out of class and made my way to the host club.
Not by choice though. If I had a choice, I would simply eat my lunch in class or take a nap, but the twins insisted I come with them.
I wouldn't gain anything by arguing with them, I was already drowsy enough. I didn't have the energy to talk anymore.
When we burst through the doors leading to music room 3, it was very loud in the room.
Can I ever catch a break?
Everyone was talking and laughing, they didn't even hear us enter. Some guests had already come early and requested some hosts.
The only hosts that weren't busy were the twins, Haruhi, and Kyoya.
Quickly though, the twins were swept away by some guests and I was left alone on a comfy couch. I felt so happy to finally have the twins off my back and I was thinking about falling asleep when suddenly Haruhi approached me.
"I tried to catch up to you and the twins, but you guys got here very fast." He seemed a bit out of breath, so he sat down next to me. Haruhi is nice, but I don't really know him. All I know is that he's not as loud as the twins, so I'm fine with hanging out with him as long as he's quiet.
"You seemed kind of out of it today, also where did you and Kyoya go before school?"
"We went to a quiet place the twins suggested so that we could do homework, but hanging around them is very draining."
Haruhi nodded, as if he experienced their terror as much as I have. I'm willing to guess he has to have dealt with even more of what I have.
The doors opened again and some other girls walked in, looking around.
Haruhi then stood up from the couch and waved at me. "It was nice talking to you, but I have some guests to entertain. I hope we can get to know each other when you're wide awake." He smiled and walked off before I could reply.
I nodded very slowly, preparing myself to doze off, but then I felt someone sit next to me.
I furrowed my brows in discontent. Out of all the days, why do people continue to bother me today? When I'm already so exhausted.
"Are you okay?" A familiar cold voice spoke, causing me to open my eyes.
"Tired.." I responded quietly.
"I see. Well then It's good that I brought coffee instead of tea with me today."
I chuckled as he poured hot coffee into two small cups. "I don't remember requesting you today.... and how is it that you're not as tired as I am?"
He finished pouring into my cup and shoved it closer to me. "Unlike you, all-nighters are no stranger to me, and neither are the twins. And as to answer your first question, since we are now acquainted, it is my duty to take care of you. Now, drink your before you pass out."
He pulled out his laptop and began to work on what may have been some assignments he was given in the classes he had before lunch.
I blinked and looked at the cup, steam rising from the liquid. I was so tempted to drink it to warm my cool, tired body, but I didn't even have the energy to lift my hand, so I just let my head fall and my mind drift off to sleep.
