"Hey! Hey!"

I was getting tired of being poked when I'm asleep.

"Mm...?" I could barely respond since I was only half awake.

"Shimizu~san, we're here."

I slowly lifted my head from the door and yawned.

Kyoya opened the door to his left and left the car with his book bag. Then he walked around to my side of the car and opened the door for me.

I giggled at how formal he was being. "I could've done that myself you know." I reached for my bag, but before I could grab it he grabbed it before me.

Then he started walking to the gate of his house.

"H-hey!" I hopped out of the car and chased after him once I closed the door behind me.

We made it inside his house and a few servants greeted us.

It felt awkward being here now when thinking of how I left their house last time. I couldn't say I was completely comfortable with Kyoya either, but somehow we continued to grow closer.

Kyoya spoke to one of the maids and she nodded and walked off. Then he came over to me. "Alright, do you need anything before we work on schoolwork? Refreshments? Maybe something to help you focus?"

I shook my head very quickly. "Trust me, you've done me enough, let's just work."

He smiled, slipped off his shoes and signaled me to follow him.

I did the same and ran after him. We walked down the long hallways filled with paintings and portraits. Some of the people in the frames seemed familiar. They were his family, I remember meeting them at dinner with my parents.

He stopped at a door, opening it, and we both walked in.

"This is my room, I'm gonna change out of my school clothes. A maid set out some clothes for you on my bed, you can change in my bathroom."

He seemed so used to saying everything belonged to him. I couldn't imagine being born into wealth and fortune, he must be so lucky.

No worries, no problems, everything is okay when your life is laid out for you. I bet he gets along well with his parents too.

I was a bit envious of how well he was living. Even though I was adopted into wealth, my parents hated me, and I've been alone since I was born.

I broke out of my thoughts when I saw Kyoya's look of disappointment.

"Are you okay?" I asked while fiddling with my fingers.

"You seem uncomfortable. Usually, when you're lost in your thoughts it's because you're upset."

"Huh?"

'How did he know that? Was he really that observant?'

"I'm fine really." I laughed it off, hoping he'd forget about it. I grabbed the clothes on his bed and walked into his bathroom, locking the door behind me.

I stripped myself of the unflattering school uniform and put on the orange and white striped sweater and the tan long skirt.

The fabric was comfy as always, you expect no less when you're drowning in cash. I looked in the mirror and smiled at the cute and comfy outfit.

I hope I can keep it when I leave.

I grabbed my school uniform and walked out of the bathroom.

Kyoya was sitting on a chair in the corner of the room with his legs crossed and he was focused on his laptop.

He wore a simple light blue button up shirt, except the buttons were undone and there was a white t-shirt underneath. He had normal, black jeans along with his tops and his entire vibe just screamed 'relaxed and put together.'
