After the school day finished, I decided I should start making my way to the host club.

As I walked through the endless hallways, I was wondering if I might get lost, I wasn't exactly listening when Haruhi was showing me around. It was very possible that I could lose my way.

As if fate wanted to make my worries come true, I turned a corner and expected to see music room three, but instead I saw the garden.

Instead of turning around, I continued to walk through the gardens, hoping that maybe a shortcut would appear in front of me. The gods granted me no such wish.

I was even more lost than before and I began panicking. My heart rate sped up and I ran off deeper into the garden, closing my eyes tightly hoping that I'd find the exit. When I opened my eyes I was in the maze, the silence chilled me to the core. This was one of the few times I didn't want to be alone, I wanted someone to help me, I felt so alone and scared, this feeling felt so familiar.

As I continued my way through the maze, my eyes began to burn into the bushes, trying to see if there was a hole that I could escape out of.

When I started to calm down a bit and my breathing slowed, I noticed the colorful roses that I remembered from earlier. These seemed to ease my running mind, so without thinking I reached out to touch the rose, hoping it would bring me even more peace.

As the tips of my fingers brushed against the cotton-like petals, I did seem to calm down and my mind started to come back.

In the distance I heard footsteps and grass crunching, the sudden noise in the silence frightened me and my hand jolted.

A small stinging feeling pumped through my pointer finger, but I ignored it as I looked to find whoever created the sudden noise.

Coming around the corner, I saw Kyoya. His eyes met mine and he made his way towards me. He was in a very relaxed position as he came closer. His hands in his pockets and a black book bag draped over his shoulder. My eyes lit up and relief flooded through me, his calm vibe hugged my soul, calming all of my nerves.

This feeling was even more interesting than when Tamaki hugged me, because Kyoya was still a few feet away and he could simply calm me with his look.

"I thought I warned you not to touch the roses." His cold tone stopped me from moving closer to him and left me in a trance.

He finally stood a few inches in front of me and stopped, he grabbed my hand that touched the rose. I took in the chill of his hands, all of this helped me return back to normal and let me focus.

I began to pay attention to his hand touching mine, how it was soft, yet rough at the same time. His fingers traced over my veins on my wrist and led all the way up to my pointer finger.

There was a rather large cut on the tip where a small dose of blood left my body.

Kyoya was quick to pull out a tissue from his pocket and wiped away the blood. Then he took a band-aid out of his book bag and wrapped it around my finger.

As he did this, I found that this was the right time to break the silence. "How did you find me?"

"Well, you seemed so interested in the garden earlier, and when you didn't come to the host club I knew you got lost." He replied, his eyes still focused on my hand.

"How would you know I was lost and that the reason for me not being there was just because I didn't want to come? You guys weren't exactly creating a welcoming environment for me." I shot back, in which he responded by letting go of my hand and placing his hands back in his pockets.

"I apologize for not being welcoming enough, but I knew you wanted to come because it seemed you had a lot of questions."

He turned and walked off away from me. When I saw him begin to walk away in the direction in what might have been the exit, my feet began to follow him without thinking. "You also seem to be the curious type, so I'm willing to bet you wouldn't want to leave those questions so easily unanswered."

I turned my head away from his face and looked at his feet, embarrassed at how easily he read me. I couldn't think of anything else to say, so I kept my mouth shut.

We finally made our way out of the maze and began walking in the correct direction to the host club. As we reached the doors, he stopped and faced me. "Aren't you gonna say anything?"

"Huh..?" My head lifted and I stared at his hair, not wanting to make eye contact.

"Imagine what would have happened if I didn't find you, or maybe if someone found you before me. I thought you'd have more gratitude." He smirked, leaving me dumbfounded.

"Thank you."

My mind told my mouth what to say, but when I finally spoke, he was already in the room, and the door was left open for me.

I tiptoed inside and closed the door behind me, but before I turned around I was already picked up and spun around.

"Shimizu~san! We were so worried about you! I'm so glad Kyoya was able to find you!" Tamaki dropped me onto a couch and sat next to me.

"So who would you like to request?" He chirped and tapped his hands on the table impatiently.

"R-request?" I finally got the chance to examine the room. It was full of girls from the school, I saw all of the host club members in little groups surrounded by them. The women seemed so in love, I could practically see hearts in their eyes and hear their squeals echo across the enormous room.

"Yes! Who would you like to talk to?"

It didn't have a second thought, I straightened my back, hoping the never ending questions in my mind would finally receive answers.

"Can I request Kyoya?"

Tamaki nodded and walked off, possibly to inform Kyoya.

As the blond boy left, the twins popped up behind me with some girls watching them intently.

"Kyoya? We didn't know you were interested in him." They said simultaneously and relaxed on the empty spots on the couch next to me.

"I just want to ask him some questions that's all, and then you'll never have to see me again." My eyes shifted from one twin to another, wondering which one I should focus on.

"Well that's gonna be hard..." The one on my left began to talk.

"...Because we're in your homeroom class." The other finished and they both scooted closer to me, wrapping their arms over my shoulders.

"So it seems we're gonna see each other a lot this year." They both said at the same time, leaving me to wonder how they were so coordinated with their words.

"Just because I sit near you doesn't mean we have to talk." I shot back. All I wanted was to do was to get out of this right space they're squeezing me in.

"Aww! But we want to be your friends!!" They squeaked in my ear, peaking my annoyance.

Why won't they just leave me alone??

I clutched my hands, resisting the urge to shove them away.

"Don't you two have some other guests to entertain?"

A familiar cold voice spoke, grabbing all of our attention.

The ends of my mouth couldn't help but pull up into a mini smile hearing his voice and seeing the twins slowly back away from me.

The twins smirked at each other and fully let go of me and hopped off of the couch.

"This one in particular is mine."
