I traced my fingers over the hardcover, so mesmerized in the book and when I looked up I saw Kyoya smiling down at me.
It made me a bit nervous to see him staring so intently so I decided to speak up. "Y-your staring.." I whispered just loud enough for him to hear.
"Well, It's good to see you smile, especially after yesterday.." His smile morphed into a straight face. "You know.. I really am sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, and I really didn't know how your parents treated you."
My head lowered, simply thinking of the events that occurred yesterday made me feel depressed. I thought that it was going to be a good day, but more bad happened than good to consider the day to be filled with happiness.
"I don't want to talk about it... not right now, I still barely know you..." I frowned and clutched at the spine of the book.
Kyoya's arm twitched, and after a second passed, he grabbed my hand that wasn't holding the book and started dragging me away from the other hosts.
This action wasn't ignored by the twins, seeing this is a perfect opportunity to tease us.
One of them grabbed my wrist, since my hand was holding the book and the other locked arms with Kyoya.
"So where are we going?" They cheered in unison and started skipping like children.
"None of your business, I just wish to find a quiet spot to work on homework."
"Don't worry..." The one next to me smirked.
"..We'll be very quiet.." The other looked at Kyoya with mischievous eyes.
"You won't even know we're there!"
Kyoya stopped moving and shook away the twin that latched onto his arm. "There's no point in you guys coming, we're going to be working and we need to be focused."
The one that held my hand quickly picked my up bridal-style, causing my book to drop and my hand letting go of Kyoya's. "Well! We can help with homework too!"
"Put her down." Kyoya demanded very quickly, in a somewhat scary tone and began to reach for my hand again.
Before he could grab me, the other twin pulled him away quickly, giving the chance for the one carrying me to run.
"Let me go!" I could hear Kyoya yelling in the distance.
Maybe I should've been scared that I was practically getting kidnapped, but I kinda wanted to see where this twin was taking me.
"Uh... so which one are you?" I looked up at the twin carrying me, I really couldn't tell them apart at all.
"Oh! I'm Hikaru!" He smiled, but continued running until we reached a limo and he sat me down inside.
Then Hikaru took a seat next to me and closed the door, right as he did that the car began moving.
"So, where are you taking me?"
"Well, you said you needed a place to study right?"
I played around with my fingers and looked away. "Yeah, that's why I came early.. I was hoping to get some help from Kyoya."
"You two sure got close in a short amount of time. He usually doesn't talk this much!" Hikaru poked my red cheek as he said that.
"Well, our families are dealing with each other, so he's just trying to understand me."
Hikaru stopped poking my cheek and crossed his legs and arms. "Yep. That sounds like Kyoya alright, doing everything for his own benefit. I bet he's a pain to deal with."
