"Remember everyone, the dance is coming up this weekend, so if you haven't asked someone yet, get on it!" A voice over the loudspeakers said, but it could barely be heard over the crowd of rambunctious teenagers.

"Are you guys going to that?" Yuta sighed. To be honest, he completely forgotten about the whole thing.

"Of course." Johnny laughed. "I asked Ten weeks ago."

"And he actually said yes?" The Japanese gasped, observing the taller. "Is he mentally ok?"

Johnny only glared. "Sicheng must be completely nuts to go with you."

Now Yuta looked to the floor. "I actually haven't even asked him yet."

"Don't feel bad, Yuta! I haven't asked anyone either!" Jungwoo exclaimed, patting him on the back.

"That's because you're a chicken." Johnny laughed. "Yuta's just dumb."

"So are you going to ask him?" Taeyong questioned, finally speaking up.

"Well of course I am!" Yuta sighed. "I just have to wait for the right time."

"You're cutting it kind of close aren't you?" The Lee said, raising his eyebrows. "The dance is in two days."

"I know, I'll get to it soon!" Yuta shouted, but after realizing something, he turned to the older. "Are you going with someone, Taeyong?"

Luckily for Taeyong, he was able to keep his blush under control. "Actually, yes. Jaehyun asked me yesterday."

He smiled as the other three 'oohed' and 'ahhed' at his statement.

"So Jungwoo," Johnny said, bringing everyone's attention back to the matter at hand. "Who are you going to ask?"

The Kim shook his head with a frown. "No one. I'm staying home this year."

"What? Why?" Taeyong pouted. "You're going to miss out on all the fun!"

"That's not true!" Jungwoo retaliated. "I'll have a ton of fun at my house! I can watch a movie or something."

The other three watched him in disbelief.

"You don't need to be nervous, Jungwoo." Johnny consoled, his face getting softer.

"What? I am not nervous!" The youngest protested. "Why would I be nervous? That's ridiculous."

He was trying to convince the others, but they weren't buying it, and he could tell.

"Fine." He sighed, giving up.

"I've been wanting to ask someone," He emphasized the word, and although he didn't say names, everyone knew who he was talking about. "But I'm just worried he'll say no, and I'll be all embarassed."

"Why on earth would he say no to you, Jungwoo?" Yuta laughed, causing the Kim to smile.

"Even if I could ask him, it's too late now. He probably already has a date to the stupid thing." Jungwoo grumbled, lightly kicking a helpless chair next to him.
