Yuta took a seat in the empty classroom, practically slamming his head on the desk.

Math definitely wasn't one of his better subjects. He tended to doze off, get distracted, or wish for death. Plus, a certain someone being in the same class and only sitting a few rows away did not help.

One by one, the students filed in the classroom, each taking their seats. His teacher, Mr. Kang, was rough, scary, rude, yet somehow relaxed, so he let them sit where ever they wanted.

Yuta took this opportunity to snag a seat in the very back, perfect for taking naps without being seen, or spying on a lovely Chinese boy just trying to pass the class.

Once everyone had sat down, his teacher entered the room, looking exhausted and annoyed as always. "Are we all here?" He murmured in a gruff tone, eyeing each student.

Taking a quick glance around the room, Yuta noticed that the only student he really cared about in this particular class, was nowhere to be seen.

His worries about the missing Sicheng were interrupted by the clearing of his teacher's throat.

"Listen up everyone," His voice was monotone, and it somehow made Yuta care less than he already did. "It's only first week of the new school year, and I've decided I don't like your attitudes."

Almost every person in the room rolled their eyes, and Mr. Kang saw, giving a look of pure death to anyone he met eyes with.

There was a vile grin on his face as he spoke his next words. "It gives me great pleasure to give you all a seating arrangement."

The whole class erupted in groans and pleas, each person begging not to be separated from their friends.

Mr. Kang almost laughed, but he held it in. "Let's get started!"

His teacher then took the next few minutes to direct everyone to their new seats. He took great joy in placing everyone away from anyone they might talk to. Smiling as he tore friendships apart, making his students even more miserable.

It wasn't that bad for Yuta though. He was in the very back row, all alone. There were 2 people to a desk, but with the number of kids in the class, he just happened to be by himself.

It was fantastic though. He could sleep, eat food, and watch his shows at any time without anyone bothering him.

Once everyone had gotten situated, saying goodbye to their friends for an hour, and sending mental death threats to the math teacher, they began to learn.

Yuta tried to keep his eyes open, but it was very difficult due to his teacher's teaching style. Mr. Kang stood at the front of the board, going over their homework, and boring children to death.

"So x to the 12th power, plus 7, divided by-" His attention was drawn away by the opening of the classroom door.

A boy with a dark blush on his cheeks quietly entered the room. "Sorry I'm late." He practically whispered.

Uncomfortable with all the eyes on him, the Chinese went toward his usual seat, only to find it occupied by another student.
