"You didn't have to do that, you know." Yuta said, ending the awkward silence.

Sicheng, who was sitting a few seats over, shrugged. "You wouldn't have even had to cheat if I had just remembered to study."

The Japanese smiled. Sure, he had been a little down about getting detention, but if he got it from helping Sicheng, he really didn't mind. Plus, the younger recieving the sentence too helped brighten things.

They were currently in detention. The classroom was empty except for the two. There had been a teacher supervising, but she left after about 10 minutes, claiming she would return and making them promise to behave.

The room was quiet again, neither one quite sure what to say. Sicheng layed his head down on the desk, and Yuta decided to walk around the room. He stopped in front of the window, observing the life below.

"So our children," The younger said, catching Yuta's attention and making him question if he heard him right. "would they really be that adorable?"

Yuta was slightly embarassed that Sicheng brought up the memory, but he smiled anyway. "Well of course, have you seen us?"

He stepped away from the window, making his way to the desk the Chinese was occupying, before sitting on top of it.

He turned his whole body to face the younger, legs hanging off the table on either side of Sicheng's chair.

"They'll have your eyes, and my smile." He pointed at feature as he named it.

"And they better have that, or else I'll be really sad." He pouted, barely touching Sicheng's right ear, which was just a bit more pointed than the other.

He looked away, clearly thinking about something. "They'll be kind, and gentle, but also playful and rambunctious when needed." He smiled, making Sicheng feel all tingly and warm.

"And what if they don't have all those qualities?" The Chinese questioned, slightly tilting his head.

Yuta shrugged and answered immediately as if there was no question about it. "I'd still love them dearly, they're our kids after all."

Sicheng simply stared at the man in front of him, rethinking a lot of things.

"Did you really mean what you said?" He practically whispered.

Yuta laughed, trying to decipher what the younger meant. "You're gonna have to get a little more specific than that, I say a lot of things."

Sicheng shook his head with small smile. "You know, how you said that you liked me, and you were going to make me like you too."

Sighing, Yuta leaned forward a bit, closing the gap between the two just a little. "Well of course I did. Why wouldn't I have meant it?"

The Chinese shrugged. "I guess I just don't understand, why me? You could've already been in a relationship in the time it has taken me to repeatedly reject you."

The older smiled at the frowning boy. "I like a challenge."

Sicheng's phone chimed, alarming him that someone was texting him, but he ignored it, refusing to let it ruin their moment.
