This is the first Informational Chapter! It is not required to read this but those who don't know the storyline of the anime/manga and who are completely unfamiliar with the Attack on Titan storyline should take a look. I will be going over characters and plot of the last chapters. I recommend you read this because I really go over my own plot which foreshadows and point out things the reader may have not caught.
Things to keep in mind: -The book might be a little confusing for those who have never read the manga or watched the anime - Chapter 5. Regret ends around the first half of Episode 8, Season 2 in the anime - Commander Dot Pyxis is in charge of the Garrison Regiment - The Garrison Regiment is the largest military division which maintains order within the walls - Remember the three branches of military in Attack on Titan are the Garrison Regiment, The Military Police, and the Survey Corps. The Survey Corps are the only branch that go outside the walls on missions. They have the worst pay and the most fatalities because they have to deal with the titans. - Chapter 5. Regret takes place in the Ermich District which is south of Wall Sina - (y/n) is from Jinae which is south of Wall Rose (Cannon character Marco Bodt is from there) - (Season 2 SPOILER) Currently (y/n) is going to Wall Rose to see the aftermath of the fight where Reiner and Bertholdt have exposed their secrets as the Armored and Colossal titans and have taken Eren - I follow the anime timeline and my chapter 1. Realization starts Episode 1, Season 2 - The next chapter will finish Episode 8, Season 2 (I'm sorry for chapter 5. We have the Military Police who work closely with King Fritz. King Fritz's castle is located in the center of the walls to give him the most protection from titans. The Military Police are known for being somewhat corrupt and a very lax job to do. The Scouting Legion, aka the Survey Corps, is the branch that (y/n), Levi, Hanji, and the manga main characters are in. They are the only branch that goes outside the walls to study and kill titans as well as exploring the world beyond the walls. They have the highest fatality rate and they get the worse pay and rations. They usually go on expeditions for days at a time, sometimes weeks, and when they come back inside the walls they usually get hate from many families saying that their work isn't worth it for all the people who die. The Stationary Guard, aka the Garrison Regiment, is the branch that Dot Pyxis heads. They man the walls which means they are responsible for staying lookout on top of the walls for titans. They also keep order within the districts like petty crime and theft. After finishing a three year long Training Crops, dedicated to training future members of the military, graduates will choose which branch of military they want to work in. Many do NOT choose the Scouting Legion because of the amount of fatalities. In my story you will hear me refer to the Scouting Legion as the Survey Corps.
