Twenty - Valerio

I can't believe she called me, I don't even care how she got my number. All I wanted to do was to reach out to her, and this is happening pretty fast. I find myself stopping in the middle of the stairs. I get flashbacks of how I lost the route to her flower shop. I take out the phone and call the recent number. "Hey, I need the location of the flower shop," I say, scratching my neck. "You know the cafe we met at right? Just keep walking straight from the shop, you would see a cute shop with one flower basket hanging on each side of the door, and the shop's name is 'Feel infinite.'" Her voice flows through like music and the fact her shop does make me feel infinite makes my heart beat faster.

I am over the stars for her. It was like I completed a test and got an A+, then ran down the streets tearing the sheet into pieces because I did it! However, if I actually did a test and tore it because I got an A+, that wouldn't be convincing. I shuttle from street to street, reaching the cafe in no time. When I do reach the cafe, I come to a halt. I almost forgot which way the flower shop was.

"Just keep walking straight from the shop, you would see a cute shop with one flower basket hanging on each side of the door, and the shop's name is 'Feel infinite.'" Renee's voice whispered in my ear as if she was near me. Her voice makes me sigh like I just finished a good coffee. I gradually stroll down the street and lookup for the name 'Feel Infinite.' Along the way, I spotted the grand arena we had the party in, which means Renee's flower shop must be close.

My ears catch the sound of wind chimes tinkling with the wind, as the name 'Feel Infinite,' gets closer, I look at two flower baskets, one on each side of the name. I look at eye level and watch a woman leave the shop, my legs pace a bit faster.

My legs take me so far that I almost miss the shop. I stop and take a few steps back, and watch my step before opening the door. The wind chimes tinkle, and I look up... only to find no one.

By the time I close the door behind me and look up once more, Renee's already behind me. "Woah, you startled me!" My voice jumps along with me. She bursts out laughing, "I knew it would work on you," She said, her hands motioning me to move from her way. I do, and watch her change the sign from 'Open,' to 'Closed.' She turns to me, takes a hold of my hand, and pulls me through another door and I am astonished. She lets go of my hand to turn on the lights. I suddenly realize that my hand feels empty without hers.

"Oh, it's a storeroom," I think out loud. There are boxes of newly arrived flowers, with some water cans and what I think is her apron hanging on the side. "Try not to lean on anything here," She says, as I straighten my back. "Would you like to have the door closed or open?" She asks abruptly. Is that a question? I don't have an answer to that, however out of my mouth comes "Closed."

What did I just say, why am I sweating- Renee reaches the door handle to close it, "How about if we left it open?" I ask, leaving her and I surprised. She chuckles and takes her hand off the door handle. "Rio, I want you to be comfortable, so don't worry-" I say more confidently now, "Closed," So she closes the door.

My eyes are fixed on her, and her eyes are fixed on the flower box to her right. Then, she looks down, and then she looks at me with delicate eyes, and all of a sudden I am levitating in space.
