Twenty-Nine - Valerio

She sat in front of me as if giving life to all the nature around us. The sun giving her eyes and her hair a shade of hue, she's making fall in love all over. The way she flutters her orbs to let me know that she's listening makes me feel all the warmth she could ever give. Who knew the woman who helped me find the paper plane as well as engulf herself with flowers could cross paths with me again? I sure didn't, but I feel complete.

She was like a puzzle piece I was trying to put together, curiosities overflowing me when I first met her, but now it's like it was meant to be. Maybe that's why I didn't find love as a priority because it was Renee my heart was searching for. She expressed herself like the wind; flowing, passionate and a drive that goes on forever. When she pauses, I take the opportunity to ask about her friend Nadia, to which she turns to me and smiles, "Nadia, I am hoping she's still with Master Jen and flowers- not to forget, the cottage," She winks as she says the word 'cottage,' which makes me lean back on the bench and look away in crimson.

She rests on the bench, twirling her hair to the side, and tying it up to a pretty bun. She pulls two small strands (one from each side) and sparkles as she blinks. She keeps talking to me about how her training for becoming a florist wasn't easy, but she loved the journey without a doubt. "I just didn't think you would be the paper plane guy," She laughs heartily, filling every inch of my body with endorphins. She gets comfortable and tilts her head when she looks at me, it's when I realize that I am caught staring at her. "What?" she asks, slowly chuckling. "Are you sure you haven't been gifted by the heavens?" I confess, making her blush and hit my chest playfully as she looks away with her smile brightening her face.

I lay back on the bench like cupid just hit me with an arrow. I look at the sky and smile like crazy. It takes me a while to realize that we are sitting in comfortable silence. I slowly look at her, and she's staring at two people walking hand in hand with each other on the sidewalk of the park. The next words are something I have been waiting to say ever since she said yes to dance with me:

"Renee, will you be mine?"

It was like just a few seconds ago I was hit by cupid and the next few seconds, confidence just ran through me. Her back straightens up and looks up at me standing up with my hand out. Her face is shocked but her body tells me otherwise. She places her hand on top of mine and stands up on her feet. "A million times yes!" She embraces me in a hug while speaking in my ear.

Just before she lets go, I hug her even tighter- and she sighs; relaxing in the embrace. "I can't promise that this would be easy, but I am willing to love you loudly," I say, in her hair- making her raise her body a bit and then come out of it to look at me. Her hands are still around my neck and she's making my heart skip a beat, as she inhales- she says "I love you louder though," and that makes us chuckle.
