"Good work, Agent Graham!" Chief beamed.

"I... didn't do it alone, and the gem wasn't on Carmen," Graham told her, looking at the floor.

"I know. We were just contacted by the palace security. The Eye of Vishnu is back in its place," Chief replied, for once sounding genuinely happy at the fact.

"Oh..." Graham glanced back at Carmen, who was handing over her coat and fedora, "How.... nice, I guess."

  "You guess?"

"It's great, Chief. I'm just... thinking," he said sadly. Carmen looked at him, their eyes meeting for a moment. He looked away.

Chief figured out what was going on.

"Look, last time we put San Diego in a police van, it never made it to the station. I don't want that happening again. Go in with her, and Zari and Devineaux will drive. But take the time to sort out whatever is between you two, I don't want you distracted," she ordered him.

"We've taken custody of all weapons and communication devices," Devineaux reported half-heartedly from the back.

"Wonderful. Put our prisoner in the back of the van, give Hawkins the key, and lock the door. Drive them to the station for questioning, understood?" Chief ordered.

Devineaux nodded. Zari was already on it, pushing Carmen to the back.

Carmen looked different without any form of red on her. She was in a black stealth suit with a gold triangle necklace. She had small ruby earrings.  And but of course, she was wearing heeled black boots.

"Hawkins, are your orders clear?" Chief asked again.

Graham sighed, "Crystal. And it's Graham."

Chief gave a small smile, "Fine then, Graham. But don't let her out of your sight, and with V.I.L.E on the move... stay safe." And with that she clicked off. Graham picked up his pen.

Devineaux handed him a key as he walked towards the van. Carmen was starring straight at the ground, where little droplets of water sat on the floor. Had those been there before? Oh crud. Carmen wasn't crying, was she?

He whispered into Devineaux's ear, "Are we doing the right thing?"

Devineaux whispered back matter-of-factly, "No. We're not."

  "Comforting."

  "Hey, you asked."

Graham sighed, "But... what do I do?"

Devineaux huffed, "Do you think she's guilty?"

  "I don't know!" Graham admitted.

"Then figure it out!" Devineaux demanded.

And with that he practically pushed Graham in the door, and shut it behind him.

  Carmen looked up. "Hello, agent."

"Er... hey. Mind if I sit down?" He asked, not knowing exactly what to say.

  "Yes," she responded coldly.

"Ouch, well, I can't just stand. So... sorry," he said sitting down across from her.

"Sorry about what, Gray?" Carmen demanded, anger burning through her eyes, "Arresting me? Betraying me?"

"Well, I was referring to sitting down.... and I'm not going to apologize for doing what's right, Carmen," Graham responded, "And it's Graham."

Carmen stared at him, "What's right? Seriously?"
