What you are to read here is a brief recount of two months worth of time in South Korea, as the Faculty Member's secretary, an archeologist's cousin, and... as someone's boyfriend?

To put it simply, these are short stories. If you don't feel like reading the entirety of this chapter, that's okay, although there's a lot of character growth in some of these, many new characters, and a memory so I recommend that you do. Then again, this is merely to progress this part of the story, and not to let Graham's new role be too cheap. Just make sure you read the FINAL TWO short stories.

  Enjoy!

  Month 1:

"And there it is!" Shadow Beamed, daintily lifting a small tarp.

  "Woah," Graham marveled.

The Red Crackle Bineyo was an ancient Korean hairpiece, worn in Korean women's hair (duh.). It was a hairpin made of a long, small bar of red gold, that curved around a stunning blue diamond on the far right end. The archaeology team believed that the binyeo had once been owned by a powerful South Korean Queen, Princess, or other high ranking female figure. It was found at the grave sight they here digging up, and they were still deciphering who it once belonged to. That being said, the discovery was huge.

But what really set this binyeo apart wasn't that it undoubtedly had been worn by someone important, it was that  the red gold was speckled with glass cracks of glass.  No one had any clue how it was done. Basically, it looked like red and glass marble or quartz. It was stunning. And, nothing like it was ever found before.  (Author's Note: Look up "red crackle" merchandise, and you'll get an idea. Also once again, no the Red Crackle Binyeo does not exist. Sorry.)

"It's absolutely stunning, mate. I just can't believe you're letting me look at this!" Graham marveled. He gently put his hand on the glass encasing the display. A sad part of his brain nagged him, wondering how long it would take for someone to try and steal it.

"Yeah, well, I'm technically breaking my own rules here. I requested that to keep our discovery on the low, so we don't invite anyone who is not part of the team to look at it. You're an exception though," Shadow said, watching his cousin marvel and the discovery. Shadow smiled. He had missed having his cousin.

Ironic, Shadow thought to himself. The accident may have damaged Graham, but it legitimately had saved the two's relationship.

"Anyway," Shadow said, "I think that's it for the night. Wanna go grab a burger or something?"

Graham chuckled. "Always you and burgers, huh?"

Shadow put his hands on his hips.

"Always you and coffee, huh?" He mocked.

Graham thought about it. "Touché. And as for your invitation I would lo—"

Something in his pocket beeped. He groaned, and pulled out his phone. It was from the boss.

ACME HQ: Get to your station, your help is needed.

Graham sighed. "I would love to..." he said quietly.

Shadow looked at him, knowing what was coming. "But? Let me guess. Your mysterious boss is calling?"

  Graham nodded.

Shadow sighed. "Then I won't keep you. But, geez, Graham. For an electrician, your hours are weird."

  "Yeah, I know."
