A Twisted Blade

???: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
???: "A HERO!"

Team RWBY and NPR smiled at the excited child-like voice, even some of the adults had smiles on their faces.
Ruby: "Aww! He has the same dream as me!"

???: "Well then, better start training to beat up all the baddies and save everyone, right?"
???: "Yep! I'm going to save everyone!!!"

The deep heavy sound of a hammer striking metal in a cave sounded.
???: "What a load of horse shit".

The heroes immediately frowned at the familiar voice and the villains snorted smugly
Pyrrha: "Jaune?"

Jaune: "Save everyone? Hmph! Some people don't deserve saving".
Another heavy hammer sound rings out.

Raven: "Hmph! Seems that this Jaune isn't as stupid as he seemed. Ruby, Yang, Tai and Qrow glare at her and she glares back."

Jaune: "What good does a hero do? Protect innocents? Defeat the "baddies"? Ruby had become a hero just like she wanted and what did she get". Another heavy metallic sound rings out.

Ruby: "Oh come on another bad end for me!?". She slumped down and pouted at all the horrible multiverses she's in. Yang+Tai: "Yeah! What's with that?!". AJ: "I just wanted to get these universes out of the way".

Jaune: "She saved 70% of Vale by herself from Salem herself because the "guys upstairs" saw all those grimm and decided that it wont have been "financially useful" to save all those people". Heavy sound rings out. "And she became a GOD DAMN SCAPEGOAT!!"

Everyone frowned at that even Salem frowned at the thought of a "hero" being a scapegoat.

Jaune: "They turned the masses against her and BURNED HER AT THE FUCKING STAKE!" A  heavy metallic sound rings out.

Everyone stared in silent horror at the thought of being burned to death especially Ozpin and Salem remembering their deaths and attempted deaths.

Jaune: "And all this hero did was FUCKING WATCH! An extremely heavy metallic sound rings out throughout the cave echoing. "But ill saved her sword and what's worse than a villain but a villain that knows how the hero's think". As he continues to hammer he remembers Ruby talking about her sword. Ruby: "My blade is a tool to save innocents" Jaune: "I'll turn this blade into a tool to kill those sinners" Ruby: "A tool to protect my friends" Jaune: "A tool to execute those murderers". Ruby: " And...I guess a tool to save Remnant? I guess?" Jaune: "A tool to end those not fit to continue their existence on this fucked up planet" 

Ozpin: *thinking*"Seems we failed another good huntsmen"
