AJ: "So in this Jaune and Ruby are siblings and Ozpin's their dad"
Everybody: "WHAT!?/HUH!?"
Ruby: "Wait! What about our mother?"
AJ: "Oh she died from an illness"
R: "Oh..."

???: "Water (35 L), Carbon (20 kg), Ammonia (4 L), Lime (1.5 kg), Phosphorous (800 g), Salt (250 g), Saltpeter (100 g), Sulfur (80 g), Fluorine (7.5 g), Iron (5 g), Silicon (3 g) and fifteen traces of other elements I'd say we've got everything dont ya think Ruby?"

Weiss: "What was that about? Are they making something?"
AJ: "More like making someone"
Weiss: "WHAT?!"

Ruby: "Dont you think this is a bad idea Jaune?"
Jaune: "Ruby trust me! We got our selves an alchemy teacher, a pretty DAMN good one too! And we've spent 2 years researching everything for this one thing! We've got this!"
Ruby: "But what if it does go wrong?"
Jaune: "Then I'll protect you ain't that what big brothers are for?"

Everybody felt their hearts melt a bit even the most stone-cold of the group
Ironwood: "What's Alchemy? And what are they about to do?"
AJ: "Alchemy is this power in this world that allows people to transform objects under the law of equivalent exchange, As for what their doing just keep watching"

Jaune: "Alright! Time to bring mom back!"

Ruby: "What does he mean? Isn't she dead?"
AJ: "She is dead however you and Jaune are going to try bring her back with alchemy however they forgot one important part"

They entered a room with their mother's suit of armour and began drawing a circle with symbols, when they finished Jaune turned to Ruby.
Jaune: "Ok Time for the final step, you ready rubes?"
Ruby knelt down with Jaune at the circle and nodded
Ruby: "Ready"
They activated the circle and that's when everything went wrong
Ruby: "AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH-!"
Jaune: "Ruby! What's wron-!"
Jaune turned to Ruby only to see her disintegrating

Ruby: "Do I have to see myself die again?!"
AJ: "This isn't really you dying"

Jaune's eyes widen and he goes to grab her only to feel a sharp pain above his knee, he looked down to see his leg or lack thereof Jaune just stared at it for a bit before screaming
Jaune: "NonononononononoNO! IT WAS ALL PERFECT WHAT WENT WRONG WE HAD ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND PERFECTED THE FORMULA WHAT COULD WE HAVE MISSED?!"
Jaune heard moaning and looked towards the center of the circle and could only look on in horror at what was supposed to be his mother. A pile of broken limbs and blood, all turned to him as it tried to reach out as if to touch him as it tried to say his name only to cough up more blood and die, Jaune seemed to pass out for a second only to seemingly wake up with a fire in his eyes as and crawled to his mother's suit of armour and draw what seemed to be some sort of symbol on the inside of the armour
Jaune: "I WONT LET YOU! I WONT LET YOU TAKE MY SISTER!"
He finished the symbol and activated it; as it activated it seemingly cut to the future as Colonel Qrow and his Lieutenant Winter

Qrow+Winter+Ironwood: "What?!"
Winter: "How could this bumbling drunk be a higher rank than me!?"

Qrow walked up to a door and knocked only to hear a 'come in' from somewhere in the house, he walked in and saw an old woman as she pointed to a door behind her and said "they're in there" and he walked in and saw Jaune sitting in a wheel chair missing an arm and a leg while a suit of armour sat near him. As they turned their heads to the sound the armour got up and spun Jaune's wheelchair around to face him. As Qrow looked at him he saw a fire raging in the boy's eyes and he smirked to himself and said as he turned to leave
Qrow: "When you get your current 'situation' sorted"
He pulled out what seemed to be a business card and said
Qrow: "Call me and tell me what you think about becoming state alchemists"
As he left Jaune and the armour turned to each other as Jaune asked
Jaune: "What do you think Rubes"

Yang: "Wait where's Ozpin in all this?"
AJ: "Ozpin left them when they were about six and never came back to prevent something terrible from occurring that would take to much time to explain on to the next"
