AJ: Now this is an interesting universe!

Ozpin: How so?

AJ: In this universe your Jaune is dead, died saving both team RWBY and the rest of JNPR from grimm during the initiation.

The experienced Huntsmen cringed, having lost friends the same way while teams RWBY and JNPR were shocked and saddened.

Pyrrha: But we cleared initiation before how did it go wrong here?

AJ: Well Salem caught wind of a silver eyed hunter trainee doing their initiation and decided it would need a difficulty tweak.

Salem nodded, thinking that was par for the course.

Ironwood: What could she have sent?

AJ: A dragon, a crowd of apathy, too many beowolves and 150 Ursa.

Glynda+Pyrrha: HOW DID JAUNE HOLD THEM BACK?!

AJ: The Arc's have a naturally higher aura level than most people and with there'last stand' technique it makes them nigh unkillable until they expire. And before you ask the technique burns your aura as fuel killing you no matter what and no im not telling any of you how to do it.

Cinder and Raven grumbled at not knowing the technique but the drawback seemed to calm them down.

AJ: Besides we've been talking for too long. Let me start it.

Jaune is shown walking across a desert in an feathery outfit with a gun on his back and his eyes exposed while muttering to himself.

Ruby: Wait I thought you said he was dead.

AJ: He is, that is a different universe's Jaune.

Jaune: I swore the signal was coming from here.

As Jaune was looking around, something popped out from behind his shoulder.

???: Maybe It's below ground?

Jaune: Maybe. But the signal is too strong to be something merely buried, don't you think so Sagira?

Sagira: Maybe it's a tr-

Jaune: Found it! 

As he wiped the sand of to see what it was he was looking some angular alien tech. His eyes widened recognising the object. He dropped and started running.

Jaune: Sagira with me! Now! It's a trap!

But a weird transparent box appeared surrounding them. Jaune slowed and Sagira teleported back to safety with him. Jaune turned around and shot the object but the bullet just pinged off the metal. Seeing that brute force wouldn't work he inspected the wall in front of him and put his hand through only to see it come out of the same wall but in a different spot.

Jaune: Sagira can yo-

Sagira: Already ahead of you Jaune this 'box' is just an inside out portal. Nothing can enter and nothing can get out. It's like it was designed to keep whatever is inside here until released. But why?

As she finished the sands begun to groan and were splitting to reveal a vex portal.

Jaune: Damn it! They're trying to get rid of us! 

Jaune began shooting the portals edges attempting to deactivate it while Sagira tried to change it's coordinates to a known place and not wherever the Vex were trying to sendthem to only to discover that the portal was changing frequencies and coordinates at the drop of a hat.
