Drumroll please...

This is the final chapter of this book!! It feels very bittersweet to write this :/

Six Months Later

"Can you believe it? We're graduating today?" Caroline asked her two best friends. They were all getting ready for their graduation ceremony in Elena's bedroom, laughing and talking and reminiscing.

"Honestly, with all the crazy shit we've been through, I'm shocked we all made it here in one piece." Elena replied while looking in the mirror and swiping on some mascara. They both chuckled in agreement.

A lot had changed in the past few months. But they were good changes.

Starting with Caroline; She and Stefan finally got together after months of flirty behavior that was way past friendly. They didn't want to get together so soon after Elena and Stefan broke up, because it would seem like just a rebound, and they thought they deserved a better shot than that. Truthfully, they were great together and both extremely happy. They were taking things slow and getting to know eachother as more than just friends, and realized they have great chemistry. It just made sense. They compliment eachother. And everyone else was very supportive.

They decided after graduation they were going to start traveling the world, starting in Europe. Stefan told Caroline that one of the best parts of being immortal is traveling anywhere you want. Caroline hadn't been so much as out of the state so she agreed very enthusiastically.

As for Bonnie, she wasn't as lucky in the relationship department. She and Jeremy mutually decided to break up, due to them growing apart and Bonnie being a year older than him. She thought it would be best if she could go into college without a relationship, and they agreed to be just friends.

Speaking of college? She will also be attending NYU with Elena in the fall. Yes, they both got accepted, as if there was ever a doubt. Bonnie originally was planning on staying in state but with Caroline traveling across the world and Elena moving to another state, there was really nothing holding her back in Mystic Falls.

As for Elena? She had never been happier. She got into her dream school and would be attending in the fall with one of her best friends. And she would be living in New York City with the love of her life, Damon Salvatore.

Okay, if we're being honest, the getting into college and moving to New York was only a small part of why she was so happy. Damon was the main part.

Over the past six months their relationship had grown even stronger than it was before, which is saying a lot. Sure, they had their fair share of arguments, every couple does, and they're both too stubborn for their own good, so they're bound to argue every once in awhile. But at the end of the day, they always made up. They loved eachother more than anything, and no fight was worth their relationship. But those fights were few and far between.

The rest of their relationship was pure bliss. Elena hadn't officially moved into the boarding house yet, but she stayed over enough and had enough drawers of her stuff in his dresser and counter space in his bathroom to be considered more than just a guest.
