Bonfire

*Alaric, Caroline, Damon, and Elena all in Ric's classroom before the bonfire*

Damon's POV

"I'll lure Stefan away from the bonfire. Then when he's distracted—" "I'll shoot him," Alaric finishes Elena's sentance.

"Can't Bonnie just, ju-ju him, or something?" I suggest. "I'm trying to keep Bonnie out of it. I don't trust that Stefan won't hurt her." Elena states seriously.

She turns to look at Caroline. "Care, are you covered?"

"Yes. I will make sure that the old Forbes jail cell is prepped and ready." She states confidently.

"You guys are forgetting a key player here. Rebekah? Wherever Stefan goes, that blonde ponytail seems to follow." I say harshly.

Elena turns to look at me. "That's why its your job to keep her away." She says in her cute, sassy tone.

"How? She's an original? Last time I checked, we're out of DAGGERS." I say, dreading the thought of being around Rebekah.

"Pre-occupy her with your charm," She replies sarcastically. "Might have better luck finding the dagger," Ric pipes in, causing both Caroline and Elena to burst out laughing.

I just roll my eyes. Just then, Tyler walks in. "Sorry I'm late. What's going on?" He asks.

"We need you to raid your mom's vervain supply. Enough to keep Stefan down for awhile." Elena says matter-of-factly.

"You can't do that to Stefan," Tyler argues. What the hell?

"Why not?" Caroline asks curiously. "Trust me Tyler, it's in his best interest," Elena pleads.

"Well it's not in Klaus's," Tyler admits. I can't see Elena's face right now, but I'm sure it's as twisted in confusion as mine is.

"But, Klaus is the BAD guy Tyler," Caroline trails off in confusion. "Why are you acting like some freaky, hybrid, slave minion?"

And then it clicks. Tyler is sired to Klaus.

"Uh-oh..." I start. "Klaus made me who I am, Caroline. I owe him everything." He says proudly. "Oh boy." I say, rolling my eyes as I walk towards them.

"Can we cool it with the commentary please?" Caroline asks rudely. "What's going on?" Elena asks out of confusion. I sneakily grab a vervain dart off of the desk.

"I'm just gonna go," Tyler says and begins to walk away, but I speed towards him and stab him, causing him to fall to the ground.

"What the hell Damon?!" Caroline yells.

"He's been sired." I state. "What?" Ric asks.

"Sired. He feels loyal to Klaus because Klaus's blood created him." I explain, turning to look at Ric and Elena.

"Loyal how?" Elena asks, seriously.

"He'll seek acceptance from his master. It's really rare, but, maybe not so much in hybrids." I explain. I'm sure I have a few vampires sired to me that I don't know about, come to think of it.

"So how do I fix him?" Caroline asks.

"Get a new boyfriend." I say rather rudely and smirk at her. I can't help it. Everyone is getting on my nerves right now. (except for Elena, of course)

Elena's POV

I spot Stefan and Rebekah talking at a keg. Now is my time. I walk over to them and mumble "excuse me" as I reach for a cup to fill up. "Elena, hi! What are you doing here?" Stefan asks so cheerfully, you might thing he has his humanity. But I know it's all just an act.
